On the 1st disc towards the front they are talking about how we won back to back championships. As they are blowing our horn they show a super bowl banner with confetti coming down............only problem.........anyone....anyone.......it's the banner after the win vs the Falcons when the Rams beat the Titans!!!!!! Any of you guys see this

Good catch Disco but at the same time, there are TONS of mistakes all over NFL Films productions. Almost all of them.
I have collected Sabol's material for 30 years and it is great. But I have learned how many intentional errors he makes ad nauseum. The NFL Greatest Games DVD with Super Bowl 32 is a total embarrassment. At least on 40 occasions, they splice in qucik clips from a meaningless 1998 preseason game between Green Bay and Denver at Mile High. Why would you do that for such an important game in NFL history?? And how do more people not notice these inaccuracies?? Brett Favre is mic'd up for the 1998 preseason game, not the Super Bowl. Yet he uses Favre mic'd up clips on many occasions throughout the production. And to think there are suckers at home thinking, "wow can you believe Favre was talking smack to Romanowski during the Super Bowl", is just disgraceful. |

Elway's Greatest Comebacks on VHS is littered with inaccuracies as well.
Tons of them. |

Like when they show the infamous comeback of 1991 AFC Divisional Playoff between Denver and Houston, Elway is running towards the south tunnel celebrating a win and you see a NFL on TNT banner hung on the wall. NBC televised the playoff game. The NFL on TNT clip was from the 1992 week one comeback at home versus the Raiders.

I try not to notice them; It makes watching them more enjoyable.
Ignorance is bliss. |
