Default Updated stats on Champ?

Mediator12, what's the updated stats on Champ, and what were his stats from the Bengals game? Times he was thrown on, catches given up, passes defended, and stuff like that.

I don't have the complete stats, but i counted 1 absolutely beautiful interception.

It looked like a solid play on live tv, but then when they panned out and showed just the secondary you can see just how great of a play it really was.

First of all, like usual, Champ never once looked at Chad Johnson. He simply backpedalled and used his hands to figure out where he was. After losing contact with 'Cinco he simply read Palmer's eyes and ended up being PRECISELY where he needed to be to make that play.... RIGHT in front of the receiver.

Now, i can see how he knew where to be left/right-wise. But how in the world did he know how deep to play? I mean if he plays it too shallow, he looks like a fool jumping at the air while a wide open Johnson plucks a ball out of the sky.

Also, don't look now but Champ has another 4 interception month. Defensive Player of the Month again?

I'm thinking DPOY, he's gotta be. I doubt in the history of the NFL there has ever been a guy with such a high "int/passes thrown on" ratio. Not to mention the low pass completion %.

I wouldn´t get my hopes up. I think they´ll give it to Urlacher again. Champ deserves it, no doubt, but I´ve been disappointed too often.

Jason Taylor is the frontrunner for it right now. I haven't seen many Miami games this year, but he's put up some amazing numbers.

Not playing on a winning team might hurt Taylor as much as his position hurts Bailey.

It's hard to ignore production like this no matter how bad his team is.

53 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 2 INT's (both returned for TD's), 9 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery through 14 games.

Pretty damn impressive.

What a waste it is that Taylor plays for the Dolphins. He deserves a trip 4 years back in time, 15 million a year, and a Broncos uniform.
