1) Devin Harris is 23 years old, Gil Arenas is 24 years old. When superstars are traded for potential, they are usually old. The scenario we are discussing is for a guy who is in his 30's. Why am I telling you this?

2) Devin Harris? You are talkin' about Devin Harris? Devin Harris? Who the **** is Devin Harris? He is nothing but an undersized two guard. We got a guy just like him, Delonte West (who came in the same draft class as Harris) but you don't see me even uttering his name in idiotic, hyperbolized trade ideas like you just did to prove some point only you understand!? Delonte West actually had a better season last year than Devin Harris. WhY!!

3) Who in the hell would want Devin Harris? Why, man? He is not a top anyone's shopping list. Why even mention him? You can trade Devin Harris. You know for who? Delonte West. That is who in the **** you can get for Devin Harris. Delonte ****ing West.

The Devin Harris bit was hyperbole, not meant to be taken seriously. I can conjure up all sorts of fantasies about what kind of dominating point guard Harris can be in a matter of years, because he "has all of the tools", and he is a player with great potential in one of the two hardest positions to fill. Dont take it personally. Al Jefferson wouldnt. In fact, Devin Harris has played great basketball in the playoffs. That's something that Jefferson cant claim.

Okay...we'll trade Devin Harris, Mo Ager, and Austin Croshere for Duncan instead of Arenas since you wanted an older superstar.

If you were Philly's GM, what deal would you take? All Nuggs homerism aside.

Presumably, only the Boston 2007 pick would be better, and likely only by half a dozen places given how terrible the East is and how much better Boston would be compared to the competition (they could honestly be a top 3 team in the East with KG and Shaq out indefinitely). By 2009, they ought to be better unless you (King in this case) are counting on KG+Pierce not working. So I don't see the picks working TOO much in Boston's favor.

GG is the kicker though.

Current talent is a wash with Joe Smith+Miller vs a Boston PG, Green, and Ratliff.

Boston's is definitely better.
