Of course, Hornung also kicked for FGs and Pats. But he did it in 12 games. LT beat the record scoring TDs, but it took him 14 games. |

Hornung was the NFL's original Pretty Boy. He has an ego that almost matches TO's. Who gives a crap about records anyway.

Regardless of what you think of either player, Hornung has a good point. He would have had 236 points if he played a 16 game season like Tomlinson. It's not in either player's control how long their seasons are so all you can say do is explain how Hurnung's was more impressive.

I watched every Packer game I could as a kid. Jim Taylor who played in the same backfield as Hornung was twice the back.
