...while we bicker about starting our stud rookie or riding the lightning with a capable, if not incompetent veteran who managed to guide the team to the AFC Championship last year, over there they debate which team was softer and/or stupider, the Marty led teams, or the Dick Vermiel led teams...

Trent Green looked so bad the other night. He looked slow in his dropback, and looked unsteady under pressure.
He was also starting to cover up and go into the fetal position, before he needed to, when he was under pressure. He was thinking about being hit before he was, a sure sign that opening day is still resonating loud and clear. Tough times in KC. Although, one trip to the Black Hole could cure the Chiefs woes quickly. |

I tried telling those guys for years that Trent Green is nothing special without maximum protection. They kept telling me that Trent Green is an elite level quarterback who is measurably better than Jake Plummer... Unless, of course, you are using stats or post-season wins as the measurement.

This thread is highly amusing. You guys beat the lowly Cardinals and suddenly everything is right once again. Shanahan is a genius!!! I can't wait to see the Bengals end your season. |

The process by which your output immediately decreases by 25%, simply by the mere presence of a certain Head Coach.
The other 25% of your former output goes into unnecessary personal Press Conference tirades, filled with awkward statements and blatant, fumbled embarrassing misuse of the English language. |

Ronald Curry usually has one good, injury free game a year...he and the fade are due for their "every dog has it's day" game. As always...it sucks to be a cheeps fan... ![]() |

Very soon Herm will top both of them.
Herm’s 5-years Master plane: Step 1: Hand the ball to Larry Johnson. Step 2: Hand the ball to Larry Johnson. Step 3: Hand the ball to Larry Johnson. Step 4: finish the season with ~ 8-8 record. Step 5: keep the job for one more year. Step 6: collect $5,000,000. Step 7: go back to step 1. |

We beat the "lowly" Cardinals and the Chiefs lost to the "lowly" Browns. Furthermore, I wouldn't discount the "lowly" Raiders just yet with the way Green has been "playing"...

Better beat Cincy donks or you will be sharing in the misery. Of course at least you guys look like you have a QB now. Unlike K.C.

That would cement it, but we have tiebreakers with just about everyone involved except KC. As long as they drop another game, we should be alright even if Carson and Co. gets out of Denver with a win...

You have no room to talk about bad QB play...Phillip "Crybaby" Rivers. He was out there b****ing more than my mother...What a pansy ass.

At least it is obvious he CARES when he has a bad game. I would rather see that then guys like, Plummer, Eli, and such who just shrug their shoulders and trot off to the sideline like its no big deal. |
