There was so much about that game that was great.

Walker got a deep ball for a TD.

Scheffler and Marshal were involved in some key third down plays.

Mike Bell was able to make some big plays in front of his family and friends.

Rod Smith was involved in the offense again proving he still has some gas in his tanks and that it wasn't all just him slowing down.

Bailey had two picks.

Or D-line got pressure and sacked the QB.

Our special teams came to life.

It was just a great team win.

Just watched the tivo again.

The Rod Smith TD drive was just insane. Cutler looked almost perfect on the drive.

But, after watching it again... I'm a little more concerned about our running offense.

Our run D was a little poopy at times, too.

But, outside of a couple throws, Jay was just brilliant. What a pleasure to watch.

I have said the second TD to Rod was Jays best one yet. He looked off the D and then placed that ball perfectly. It was just downright pretty.

The rush yards will start to come easier as Jay makes teams pay for concentrating on the run.

He made a lot of great throws, but the one that impressed me the most probably didn't show up on most radars.

It was just a crossing route to Sheffler, but said a lot about the kid's skills.

Cutler took the snap and dropped back.. looked to Smith (if I recall) and he was covered.... looked back inside to Sheffler who was running about a 10 yard cross... and was COMPLETELY covered. Cutler fires the ball out there for him with about a 5 yard lead on it, and about waist high.... so the only person that could get it was Sheffler, and he did. It was a great catch, but just to be able to figure out where to put that ball on the fly like that was a thing of beauty, to me.

There was nothing there, and he made something. Gotta love that.

Great pics! Thanks Bob.

Scheffler seems to get a bit too excited after TDs... he grabs and lifts guys by their jerseys! He should be careful or he could injure someone. Gotta love the emotion these young guys bring to the team. Future is bright indeed...

I was going to say the exact same thing. He looks astounded. Jay put it in like a bottle to a baby in a crib. Plays that perfect are rare. Remember, Walker broke free, but he was also bracketed.

On a scale of 10, that throw was a 20. If you look at it carefully, you can see Walker freaking out! Whoot!

I don't know if anyone's done this before for other people, but I was wondering if any of you that taped/TiVo'ed the game could put it on a DVD for me? I was at the game in person and loved every minute of it. But it would be really nice to be able to see it again from a normal "TV" point of view, since I have such a different memory of it live (and drunk). PM me or whatever, if it's possible to do this. I can pay for the disc and shipping and whatever else you need. Thanks!

Me too, please. I would really appreciate it. My dad didn't tape the game, cuz the Bears went into OT and then he forgot. Good thing I got a gift receipt for his Christmas gift!
