Default Just thought of something about todays game!

Yeah this is minor but one thing I haven't seen talked about today is the Nalen and Cutler exchange. No botched snaps today and it wasn't like most plays were in the Shot gun. Thats nice to see as that was a problem.

Yeah the only thing I wanted to see was weekly improvement and he has done that nicely.

That was good to see.

Like Garcia said, it's so fun to watch this kid get better from week to week. I haven't been this excited to watch Broncos football in a long time.....and we've had a pretty decent run with Jake under center.

The season is coming to an end too quickly. Come January we will likely have to wait 8 months to watch this kid agian.

Looked very comfortable. Last week to this week were some small but very important changes.

Feels the pressure, hits guys in stride, and never lost his cool. Just amazing.

Exactly, now I want him to settle down in the pocket a little more. He had some happy feet but it didn't really effect him. He has an amazing throw its fun to watch. I also like his Peyton Manning arm waving audible stuff too!

I don't know that he had "happy feet". On the pass the Rod for the TD, he did turn to look left, and hopped his feet that way. He said that the DB bit on the ploy and that gave Rod time to get open. Mostly, he seemed failrly calm in the pocket, better than Leinart.

omg, i basically drooled over that play.

First it looked like a broken play, but then as I watched it I almost pitched a tent.

What Patience letting the route develop, great footwork, then the pinpoint pass.

Wow! is all....

Oh no he was calm many times in the pocket today. He just had a few tap dances there. Thats all I am saying, its nothing drastic. Just something to work on as he is still learning and adjusting.

That pass was the best one in my mind. He sold it and then put it right on the money. I mean right on the money. All Rod had to do was open his hands. It was just nice.

On the Scoreboard they kept anouncing that Leinart broke Plummers rookie record in passing yards for a season.

And the hate I hear from Cards fans on Plummer is astounding. I mean, he won them a playoff game against the HATED cowboys. I really was shocked so many fans here hate him. Weird.

Back to Cutler now

Coming out the gates with the long TD to Javon was perrrfect too.

Yeah, I think I scared the neighbors with my outburst when Jay hit Javon with that perfect pass at the start. I havent seen a play like that since preseason.

Thats stupid of AZ fans to do. Jake won them games they had no business winning. Its not Jakes fault that he wanted to go to a team who attempts to win. Again I refuse to let this thread get into a Jake and Jay fest so back to Jay.

Another thing he did well today was that he didn't stare down WRs as much. Simms made a point of saying that in the game as well.

Jay worked from the shotgun a lot today, which I love... especially for a QB with his skill set.

Yeah but they also used a lot of 2 back sets too and especially towards the end. Even last week Jay messed up SG snaps. Just wanted to point out an improvement I saw today.

Definitely!

He had a primary option on every play, but when that wasnt open, he didnt get scared, he just took his time, looked aroung and founf somene else.

Amaing!! Not like it takes an All Star, but its something we havent seen in awhile.

Almost got too comfortable when he tried to make a play threw the pick.

That pick was his fault even if Marshall missed the route. But mistakes happen and it could have been worse. Its hard not to get high on his performance today as next week could be a different story but even in 3 games its been fun to watch how much he improves and learns from his mistakes.
