NOT. He is way overpaid. He can't tackle. He doesn't earn the money he makes. Trade him for about 5 4th round picks. With Tatum and Champ, we stole that trade.

Champ has clearly quit. I mean, he only returned his 2nd int for 32 yards instead of a pick 6.
Clearly, Scouts Inc. were right. Champ and the rest of the team have mailed it in and quit. ![]() |

Champ is the guy that will come up with the big plays on this defense. I hope teams keep throwing his way.

L. Wright of the Denver Broncos .........well maybe not better , matter of debate I guess different times ,different rules , but one thing that cant be debated L.Wright was a shutdown corner long before the term was ever coined

Champ is just as good in coverage as Deion was. We all know Champ's tenacity on every play and his excellent run stopping support. Deion I think was a bit faster than Champ and probably a better returner, hard to say for sure since Champ doesn't get the chance.
Champ is better. I really love watching him play. Too bad it will have to end some day. |

Deion should not be mentioned in the same breath as Champ. Deion was a great cover guy ONLY. He actually shied away from taking on a running back or tight end who already had the ball. Champ is a COMPLETE corner. I got sick of watching Deion go OLE when a running back came his way.

Fine. If Deion wasn't as good as Champ(A mite of homersim if you ask me), then who was? Anyone?
I will admit that no corner has ever nearly as good in both categories before(Ronde Barbver's as good in Run-support, but not worthy of mention in the same breath as Champ in Coverage, etc.). |

Daryl Green was really good in his prime, though I'm not sure if he was better than Champ is now.
Champ is a rare breed. He has all the physical tools of a modern athlete, but the mindset and work ethic of old school football players. The NFL used to be full of guys who were 100% football even if their athletic ability wasn't quite up to snuff, now its the opposite with a ton of athletes with limited pashion or knowledge for the game. Champ transcends those boundaries like few other players in the NFL today. |
