... for Christmas ... have money for like 2 games ... thinking about GoW and Madden plus Street Fighter and Hold´ Em on XBL Arcade. Any suggestions?

I think one shooter is enough for starters ... there´s too many shooters on the 360 anyway for my liking.

GoW is a must own. If you're a fan of Madden, I'd go with that too. A football game and a shooter will give you some variety.

I'll second the Dead Rising suggestion. That's been may favorite 360 game thus far.

Oblivion and an extended warranty. The 360 is a great machine but reliability is a problem.

Think I get 2 years by law here anyway. But, yes ... it´s officially a Christmas gift, but I got a chance to play around with it today and yesterday to see if it works

and the sound the air cooler scared me to death. Shuffled around some stuff so it now has 6 inches above it ... hopefully that should settle it.

I got Madden and GOW ... I can always pick up Oblivion on the cheap if I feel like it ... will post my XBox Live Gamertag when I sign up for it on the 24th ...

GoW is a good game, but it is WAY TOO SHORT. 6hrs to me is just crap.

Ghost Rec is good, Rainbow 6 Vegas is good, Oblivion is a must own. I hate Madden so blah (damn you for ****in up 2k). I would wait for Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Lost Oddosey, Bioshock, or if you like FPS F.E.A.R. and maybe Shadow Run.

vegas is one of my all time fav fps. its the best of the series by far! love the co-op terrorist hunt and campain.
