He was the last surviving main character in "Young Frankenstein". Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, Madeline Khan and now Peter Boyle all deceased. Very sad...

Gene Wilder isn't dead. He and Tim Burton got into words about the Willy Wonka movie. Wilder said there's no need to remake a classic. Burton said he rates Chitty Chitty Bang Bang higher.
Rest in peace Peter Boyle. |

I just saw Gene Wilder on a program a couple of weeks ago. He was pissed that they remade Willie Wonka.

Love is the only thing that can save this poor creature. And I am going to convince him that he is loved, even at the cost of my own life..No matter what you hear in there, no matter how cruelly I beg you, no matter how terribly I may scream, do not open this door or you will undo everything I have worked for. Do you understand? Do not open this door...
Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. What's the matter with you people? I was joking! Don't you know a joke when you hear one? HA-HA-HA-HA. Jesus Christ, get me out of here! Open this goddamn door or I'll kick your rotten heads in! Mommy! |

Think you're thinking of Wilder's wife, Gilda Radner.
She's takin' a dirt nap. |

Did you guys ever see the movie "The Dream Team"? It is about a group of mental patients who get a field trip to go and see a ball game or something. Hilarity ensues. It stars Michael Keaton and Peter Boyle plays a guy who thinks he is Jesus Christ. Keaton's character calls him JC all the tiime. Pretty funny movie.

She has serious MS and is just a shell of her former gorgeous self.
![]() Standing at the door at his arrival: "What beautifull knockers!" Teri: "Why thank you doctor!" Young Frankenstein was possibly the funniest movie of all time. Remember when Boyle(Frankenstein's Monster) came to the violin and climbed the wall...Wilders comment as he was clinging to the castle wall: "He want's to do it himself..." Then he plummets about 50 yards down the castle wall. We should all have such a full life. He was absolutely hysterical on Everyone Loves Raymond. Last edited by watermock; 12-13-2006 at 06:08 PM.. |

"I can fix that hump for you"
Feldman:"What hump?" Then the hump switches places to the other side. |

Does anyone else remember "Steelyard Blues" with Boyles, Donald Sutherland and Jane Fonda?
They are a bunch of paranoid misfits trying to escape from the real world by rebuilding an old airplane. I don't know why that movie has always stuck in my mind. Boyles was great in serious roles to - Joe, Taxi Driver, Tailgunner Joe |
