Default Hong Kong Phooey is the Secret Weapon

He's one of my favorite comic Super Heroes. I think we should sign him and put him on the DL. He's a bad a$$ but he'd probably get called on a lot of tripping penalties though. I’m curious which comic Super Hero do you think comes in and gives us that push we need to make it to the playoffs?

He's kind of a disorganized train wreck but he would definitely wreck havoc in an opposing backfield. It’s just what we need, a wild maniac who’ll kick a$$ and take no prisoners.

Is he a fan of Hong Kong Phooey? I had no idea. I'm just trying to lighten it up in here, things have been all doom and gloom. This 4 game losing streak is killing me too but I really believe he's the answer.

Please explain what the "100 post rule" is? Since I'm new I don't know what you're talking about. I've seen someone else post this, I don't get it's meaning.

A sugestion made by people that new posters should not be able to start threads until they have accumulated at least 100 posts... Just gets rid of the spam and gets people acclimated to the board before they start the 500th cutler/plummer thread...

or in this case a thread about a really bad cartoon

We'll I'm pass a 100 posts so that rules that out. It's funny to me what some fans think are good posts and bad posts on this site. I've seen plenty of the bad over and over, is a little light hearted fun not allowed? Do I have to talk about Jake or Jay, Shanahan, Coyer, the DL, OL, Special Teams all the time?

Hong Kong Phooey was a pretty good cartoon, but Spider-Man's web would be good for snagging footballs away. The only problem is that he wears red. We'll have to work on that...

Joe's got to be about 40 (like me) to be posting those. Gotta love Scatman Crothers.

Spider Man is a good choice but how about Spike? Just imagine Droopy being Leinart, except he doesn't get away like Droopy does in the cartoons.

Its a stupid joke these twits have. Someone thought that it would be a good idea to limit people with fewer than 100 posts to make new threads. Taco never implemented it (thank God) because its a retarded idea, but these jokers keep bringing it up like its funny.

Personally I think your attempt at levity is much needed around here.

I'm a big fan of Mutley

I think we could give the other players a complex by having him snicker at him the whole day

You want Muttley you got him. This is no joke when I was a kid living in Kansas my Grandmother who lived on a farm took in a stray. She let me call him Muttley, swear to God, true story.

I used to get up at 7am on Saturday mornings to watch this show. I would have to wheel out the TV from my parents bed room then hook it up in the living room. They finally broke down & bought a big Ugly 1973 Space Aged looking Zenith Console TV because they were tired of a 6 year old waking them up at 6:45 am to set up the TV to watch Hong Kong Fooey!

The Star Trek Cartoon came out in 74 or 75 I was all excited until I saw them & thought they sucked balls. Hong Kong Fooey Rocked!

Better yet Mr. Peabody as our new Offensive Coordinator and Sherman as the new Special Teams coach. How could we lose?
