Default Why It's Good To Be In BroncoLand

For 16 miserable years I lived in California and had to endure being away from the Bronco's market. One of the factors pushing me back to the Mile High City was a chance to be near my beloved Broncos and near other Bronco fans. Hundreds of them. Thousands of them.

I haven't regretted a single day being back home. I love my Broncos --win or lose--and I love being with my fellow fanatics who feel the same pain and joy as I do.

It's a blessing (if I may be allowed to use a religious term) to be home among my fellow fans. And that feeling extends to this message board. All my fellow fans who felt the pain of yesterday's loss. We're all in this together brothers and sisters. I love you all.

But my exodus from California was all the more highlighted today after I returned to this board --still wearing my Bronco Blue and Orange-- and found a sudden and new wave of Californians here. This time not from Oakland, but from San Diego. Their sudden appearance on the board, with their paper-thin pride, has brought back memories of living with Raider, 49er and San Diego fans. What a nightmare. What horror. Thank goodness I'm home. Thank goodness the Broncos --and their fans--are a MILE above the Raiders, the Chargers and other such Californians (Bronco fans in exile, as I was, obviously excluded).

Well said! There are some SD fans here that are great contributers though. People like Xenos and Boltaneer, and a few others really have good football knowledge. The others will go away in time.

Win or lose, Plummer, or Cutler, Pass rush, or none, all that matters is we all have one common bond, we route for the Orange and Blue.

I see you've gone to the old, "If my team can't beat yours, I'll just talk about how you're fans suck" card. Really pathetic attempt to deflect attention from that azz whooping we just laid on you Donko.

Thank God one of you Donko transplants got the pink puppy belli out of Cali. I only wish the rest of them would do the same.

48-20 is what matters. Enjoy your little Rocky Mountain Oyster Utopia and I'll just lie back in sunny Cali basking in the glow of a SB victory.

Man you guys are some sorry azz losers. You need to learn to take a beating like a man instead of some whiney little b****.

Just win something and then come back (until then) your record in the big games isn't so great, is there anything such as a sore winner?

Amazing how some people call Denver fans "sorry azz losers" most of us freely admit SD is the better team and has a real shot at winning the SB. To some people this isn't enough they have to scream it out and trash other fans. Sad pretty sad.

Just ask the bolts bandwagoners in person if they can name one single player on SD from the 90s not named Junior Seau, and most of them can't. Hell, ask them to name one current offensive linemen and they can't do that either.

OrangeAtheist, I lived in the OC and Hermosa Beach for a few years in the late 90s and at that time you saw about 3 charger fans in 100 people at a sports bar, and like 20 Broncos fans.

Most of these guys became fans in 2004, so they might think Marty's playoff record is 0-1, not 5-12.

I lived in Denver in 2003-4 and the difference from growing up there is the media seems eager to pile on and disparage the team much more. Maybe because it was newspapers, 2 shows on KOA and the 5 minute local sportscast at the end of the news then, and now there are several 24 sports radio stations, the internet, and shorter patience levels.

Did you move to Denver or move back to Denver?

No, it's just that your dumbass only has 72 posts which proves my point that punks like you only show up when your team is doing well. I have to put up with you on boards like this, but I'm grateful I don't have to run into sorry-ass-bandwagon-I'll-only-join-a-rivals-board-when-I'm-not-embarrassed fans like you on the street anymore.

Another point made. You weren't around here to take your lickings when it was San Diego's azz that was getting whooped, now were you? Nope. You probably were so damn disappionted by your weak Dolts that you didn't even watch football for years. And, if I recall, my post mentions the "the pain of yesterday's loss" so you can suck my left nut. This had nothing to do with deflecting attention. It was a roach trap to draw out punks like you. Thank you for playing.

So do I. We have many Lost Tribes and my heart aches when I think they have to live in that ****hole with the likes of you.

Counting Lombardi's before they're hatched, huh? We'll enjoy your absence when your team fails to bring home the prize. You will be sure to drop by again some year when your team gives you something to cheer about again, right?

I have no problem taking a loss. Been there, done that. I lived in SF during our 55 to 10 thumping. My point was simply that I enjoy being a Mile High above pizzants like you so I don't have to tolerate your kind walking the streets anymore. Again, thank you for making my point. You can collect your prize at the door. It's not a Lombardi, but you haven't had it since 1982.

you flip cowpies out in the NW and they are right there for the taking...tht's why they taste so good.

I haven't done any in a long time but would. I'm laughing allready...We didn't know WTF was going on and barely made it out of Boulder and the women were running around naked and we were laughing like imbiciles.

A deer came out and laughed at one of the girls...Ever have a deer laugh at you? We were a pathetic mess for half a day till it got cold.

It's rather insulting to have a doe laugh at you but I swear it happened. We were shrooming so bad we didn't leave this big rock for 6 hours heh...

The girls ran around naked and picked frlowers and we laughed hysterically. The rock was warm so it was our camp kinda.

We were total vegatbles for about 6 hours...we all were exausted and limped home when we finally came down when the warm sun left.

I like the fact that the Broncos won their first Superbowl in San Diego's stadium...
