serious question here for broncos defense
i had a good discussion with some friends when i was watching our demise this past week against SD. it went something like this. i thought i would share it. 1st i support cutler all the way. i can honestly see it coming together and it looks nice seeing that ball zipped across the field again. although someone was quick to point out that he can only throw in the middle of the field accurately. not the flats.
but here is there question. --
If bailey is a shut down corner and has pretty much prevented the ball to being thrown to his side - then why not cover darrent william guy? i mean i couldnt honestly answer that question. it lead most people to believe that he really isnt that special although he has gotten a couple of int's but that denver couldnt figure that out. that part is the part i would like to have answered. i am not sure of the answer. it seems so simple.
and while you are at it please i would love to hear peoples opinions on this as well:
last year we had a steady pass rush that consisted of blitzing everyone once or twice a game. we excelled and won a lot of games and our defense played stellar. this year we arent really doing it. and our defense really isnt that good. i mean we were able to stop the run every game. for 3 weeks now we havent been able to. why is this?

The safety help that Darrent Williams (Ferguson) to cover the long ball is out for the season due to injury, also safety Sam Brandon presence in the backfield is also missed, forcing John Lynch to cover TE in the flats(a miss match)
