Default Well...there's bitter satisfaction in seeing the Colts trampled

My teams didn't win yesterday, but my most disliked teams lost...the Colts got run out of the Super Bowl derby, and the Cowtoys got waxed by the Saints. It isn't the same, but you take what you can.

Amazing how hype crashes to earth quickly. Not a month ago the babble was "CAN THE COLTS GO UNDEFEATED?" now who knows if they'll even advance in the playoffs. Oh, and once again Manning struggled when everything wasn't in place. We know their run defense stinks, but wasn't everyone praising him for being able to keep winning? Funny thing, we're nearing the playoff run. And when it comes to playoffs and Peyton....well, you know.

Dear Romo, the homeliest Dallas qb who has Cowboy fans panting for dates in the stands...welcome to the NFL! I trust you'll get used to such harsh treatment.

At least we aren't the Raiders.

There's much satisfaction if you're holding a ticket on Jacksonville.

San Diego Chargers, SuperBowl XLI Champs.

I don't even want to see the game if SD plays Indy in the Playoffs. LT will run for 400 yards. It will be a massacre.

Defensive guru Tony Dungy has definitely built a real defensive juggernaut in his 5 years in Indy. You would think that he and DC Ron Meeks would finally get held accountable but the Indy fan base is like few others. They accept failure and the vast majority refuse to complain and prefer to just polly anna all day saying stuff like "we should just be happy that we have a team that is fun to watch..." or "we should just be happy we don't have a team like the Raiders..."

With the offense that was already in place any good defensive minded coach should have been able to build at least a solid middle of the road defense in a five year period.

You boys need to let your bitterness of Manning go. Trying to lay anything on him when his defense is getting gashed for 375 rushing yards at a 9 yard per carry clip is comical. Not to mention special teams giving up another 90 plus yard TD return. Just about every QB in the league would have had 3 or 4 INT's pressing and trying to come back from a mess like that.

Dungy mortgaged the farm on Manning and the results are in.

More like he hitched his wagon to Manning's coat tails and forgot to actually do his job.

His mistake was that he thought the best way to take advantage of that offense was to build a fast defense that would force a lot of turnovers. The problem is that those fast guys are also small, and when they don't get out to an early lead they get raped like Ron Mexico in a junior high passing competition.

It took until yesterday for a team to put more points on Indy than Denver did. Is it too late for them? I hope so. Few things give me more satisfaction than watching Peyton throw a temper tantrum...
