Default Darrent Williams is going up against Boldin/Fitz next week

He better go study a lot of film and improve this week or else he'll get schooled pretty badly.

Both of those Cardinals WR's are amazing and offer a complete package.

To help out DWill, Coyer needs to put a lot of pressure on Leinart next week.

Well hopefully we can get a pass rush against their poor offensive line. It should negate if we can.

Lynch needs to get his head out of his ass. As the elder statesmen I hold him responsible for our pass defense getting slaughtered.

D will just did not make the plays and that has nothing to do with the defensive line.

Good thing we'll get some pressure against their horrid offensive line.

If Leinart uses a PA or pump fake we are done for!!

On TV, Ive always thought DWill was decent.

LIVE - he is out of position, looked like a lost puppy dog.

With a decent DL any CB looks good and he will be no different.

But for now, start Fox at corner and move Cox back to safety.

Keep in mind that Leinhart is a lefty, facing directly at DWill in passing situations. That is a recipe for more disaster!

I think the Broncos would be better leaving Cox or Hamzda at S and putting Foxworth back at corner, with Paymah being the nickle back. Couldn't do worse than DWill..... DWill needs to take a seat for a while. He just is not getting it done this year at all.

I can't count how many times I cursed at Williams yesterday, but I guess it's not all his fault that we can't get pressure on the QB. Our line is pathetic! We had ONE play were the line pushed the pocket, and that was it! It's painful to watch the QB drop back and look, look, look, like... forever.

If we don't do something about it next offseason I'm going to lose it!

And yes... the Cards WRs scare me...

Send a few skanks over to Leinert's room the night before the game to wear him out.

The Cardianls game was on the next tv over at the bar, so I got to watch a lot of the game. Leinart threw almost exclusively to Fitzgerald all day. I didn't see Boldin once, but every time I looked up the ball was going to Larry.

1) D Dub got schooled by Reggie Williams - earns HS diploma
2) D Dub got schooled by A ROOKIE in San Diego - earns Undergeraduate degree
3) D Dub working on Masters degree against Boldin/Fitz on 12/17
4) D Dub working on PHD vs Ocho Ocho/Whoseyomama on Xmas eve.

It doesn't get any easier for Darrent. His play has been disappointing at best. Shanahan fooled me with his praise of how good he really is, blah, blah, blah, blah. Horrid in coverage and worse in run support. I think he is too small to play effectively in the NFL.

CB play is so dependant on D line play that I'm certain even a Cloned champ on the other side wouldn't make much difference. There should be no way that edge runs on us behind that crappy line. If he does, its over since we won;t be able to biltz well. the broncos have faced the top 3 RBs (over the last couple years) 4 times in a row. they should be chomping at the bit to pound edge.

Blitz, biltz, biltz. the only way we stop their passing game.

Remember, they have a decent #3 as well in Bryant Johnson. He make some plays.

D Williams is a terrible corner. Even when he appears to be in possition he fails to make a play. He can't tackel and blames everyone else when he gets toasted. Fox is a better all around corner, he just doesn't make the once ever six games highlight interception, like D Will.

exactly. We were in the endzone so we can see everything form that angle. His jock strap, shoes, uni and ego were left somewhere in the red zone by LT. Can he tackle?

Safety, hell the staff turned a corner into a safety to help out D-Will.

Larry Fitz will be drooling if D-Will lines across from him.

I gotta imagine that on most plays Champ covers fitz. The coaches can;t be naive enough to think Dwill has any shot at covering fitz. He has almost no chance covering boldin as well but Fitz is much more of a matchup problem for Dwill then Boldin.

However, the point is moot unless we get some pressure.

Dwill make Boldin & Fitzgerald look like All-Pro, Pro-Bowlers, bound for Canton.

I can smell the toast already.
