Default NBC was totally negative on Cutler

Every highlight they showed on him was totally bad.

It's a reflection of this team going south so quickly.

Clearly you can't read becaues at least 50% of this board agrees with me right now.

If you don't like it, then ignore it and move on. Oh and what did my post have to do with Plummer anyway?

a-hole.

And the pride of the Mane has shown up. Why wouldn't people want to hang out with a bunch of classy individuals like yourselves?

the amazing thing is that studies have shown that the kinds of interchanges that fans have are more dramatic than the interchanges teams have.

go figure.

Start a poll and prove it.

NFL Radio was trashing Cutler, as well. I'm sorry, but wasn't QB a non-issue today?

Optinions don't really matter at this point. The team doesn't hear what is being said and they are still losing.

I think we just encourage the team to fight for a wildcard spot, then look to next year. Cutler is looking good, it is just a matter of filling in other holes on the team. Next year should look better.

2 or 3 wins would really be a bonus.

NBC, ESPN, CBS - they are all sucking the Chargers knob. I hope the Chargers make it to the Super Bowl and lose. That might finally shut the media up. They were sucking Peyton's knob until a few weeks ago, but they've found another bee-hatch.

Well, on most of the highlights I saw there were generally Chargers making plays.

Overall, Cutler didn't have a terrible day, but he didn't make plays. You guys were in desperation mode starting in the third, and weren't able to put together a drive or run the ball consistently (props on that big run by Bell though, I was at the stadium and EVERYONE thought he scored.).

SD was just able to put more drives together. We never fumbled the ball away on offense, and only punted three times.

Denver punted 4, fumbled away one, and turned it over on downs twice. You're not going to win football games giving the other team 3 additional possessions and giving up TDs in the redzone.

He started to really play well when they started to go to shotgun on 3rd downs. About time. NBC is retarded if they thought he played terrible or it was his fault they lost. Oh yeah I forgot Elway played like a hall of famer his first 2 games.

I was at the game.

Cutler was great on about 6 throws, and awful the rest of the day.

Make what you want of it.

He's a rookie. I'm not worried about his future. But, the "he gives us the best chance to win" stuff is just beyond comical at this point. It's offensive to anyone with any shred of intellect.

Shanahan mailed in his season to train his rookie with the outside hope that maybe he'd buck TREMENDOUS odds and play above the usual rookie level.

He's didn't.

The saving grace here might be that our defense is so horrifically bad, it honestly probably didn't matter.

last time I checked a 97 Qb rating for a game for a second start is pretty good.

Funny...he completed 17 passes. I guess he stunk on 11 of those though eh?

Cutler's game was a significant step forward from the performance last week, which is really all that's important anyway at this point.

i dont see how they could be negative, he played very well for a rookie. he had the stats of good jake from last year and made some very good throws that jtake couldnt make.

i understand if it was all LT highlights, the guy deserves, it is just too bad that cutler wont get the recognition that he deserves for his game today. oh well.

He was great on about 6 throws. Very encouraging.

He also made a bunch of rookie errors.

He's a rookie. He doesn't need an apology thread. He's learning the game. He'll be fine.

you just don't understand, shanny just doesnt wanna make it to the playoffs and lose...which is about what he expects the best jake could have done

jay may not get us to the playoffs, but if he does, shanny knows its his best chance @ a SUPER BOWL which is what he is after, not an extra game in january

Did you have lunch with him or just call his cell?

Because, I haven't heard him say anything besides "Jay gives us the best chance to win right now," which we obviously know is garbage.

Shanny threw some **** against the wall to see what would stick. The end result is a couple of losses and an apparent training season for his rookie QB.

I mean, there's upside to that. But, there's no reason to candy-coat things or attempt to put words in his mouth.
