Default San Diego gets away with PI on practically every down

I don't understand how they get away with the blatant interference every time our QB drops back to pass.

Anybody else who was at the game in Denver is probably already aware of this fact, somehow it continues to happen.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's a conspiracy to help the Chargers win. It's 'cause the league hates Shanahan.

i certainly felt a flag was warranted on the Gates vs. Lynch TD

Sometimes refs follow momentum. We had none and we didn't get the breaks on the calls. That's the way it goes.

We got killed on that play when Quentin "I will mug you" Jammer completely attacked Marshall on the no-call. That killed our momentum.

I thought that was a blatant offensive PI on Gates on that 2nd TD catch. Totally shoved Lynch away.
Also, the PI on the 3rd and 2 play, come on.
As well, it appeared that they were offsides a lot. Their DL was moving across the line before our line was moving. Come on.

We have never seen CB's play bump coverage as our are usually 7+ yards off the LOS. As such it looked like PI all the time, when it usually wasn't. Although that one Marshall play was.

No .... the one on the sidelines was interference, but the ball was obviously un-catchable, so no flag. I dunno why Simms didn't point that out.

And the Gates TD .... he looked like Shaquille O'Neal with a smaller defender bouncing off him, and then begging for a charging call ... it's just not gonna happen. I suppose it might've been technically interference, but it wouldda been a ticky-tack call .... and the Bolts wouldda scored anyway.

I don't know why nobody's pointing this out, but Rivers is scary-good. It's gonna be a long decade for our pass defense against him.

He had his hands on his for ten yards before the ball passed him, plus he held his jersey at the beginning. That could have been holding, illegal contact or PI. You can't say the ball is uncatchable when the contact is that far before the ball got there. let's see you run full speed with someone pushing you out of bounds for ten yards!

The Gates TD: Gates extended his arm out, pushing aside Lynch. Thats what I saw. Is that not Offensive PI?

The deep ball to Marshall, you can't touch a WR after 5 yards. He clearly bumped him out of bounds after 5 yard. Thats a penalty, should've been called for PI or illegal contact.

To me, there were a ton of calls that were so close and we got the short end of the stick on most. The interference on the fair catch to me was a call you NEVER see unless contact is made. The 5 yard face mask on Rod should have been 15 for sure. Gates did push a little in the endzone but it wasn't a great job by Lynch either. He wasn't pushed that hard. SD looked more physical then us and that's becoming a trend more common then not. We need to get bigger, stronger and tougher next season.
