Default Good Game and I'm glad no one got seriously hurt

I'm glad that there is no fist fights or rotator cuffs torn off in this game. Hate to see people get carted off or injured. Anyways, it was a closeer game than the score let on, and your team showed a lot of heart and determination in the third quarter.

And I must say that Cutler is going to be something special. The kid definitely showed some mettle and he and Scheffler(sp) scares me. I hope to God that the Chargers get a good centerfield this offseason because the middle of the field is still our biggest weakness. I just hope that some of the posters here will have more patience with him like I did with Rivers.
I look forward to the new era of Cutler vs. Rivers. Cut the river. Flood the blade. Just throwing some weird signs out there. Sorry about that.

And yes, I know that there were non-called penalties that were suppose to go your way, but didn't. I'm sorry about that as well. Them are the hard breaks unfortunately.

Ignore the other flamebait threads that will be started by some of the other Chargers fans.

Anyways, feel free to rant in this thread as well. I'm not going to respond to them though with any excuses or quip. I will however once again comment on these wonderful moving smiley faces. They're awesome.

Congrats to you and the other classy Bolt fans. Your team is clearly the class of the AFC right now.

Good luck the rest of the way.

You are an awesome fan. I will go on the record as saying SD has the best chance to win the SB in my mind. You guys are just a complete unit.

I am happy about the progression Cutler showed today. Still made some Rookie mistakes but less than last week. Congrats on a great win for you guys.

Got a lot of talent on that team. I wouldn't be surprised if these teams met one more time. Kinda nice seeing Rivers and Cutler clash. It reminds me a little of when LT and CP were young tykes going at it on offense.

... of course that is our problem. We have Cutler and somebody who is functional at HB versus Rivers (pro bowler) and LT (now solidified as the NFL MVP)

The Chargers have more talent and deserve the the AFC West Championship. They did it the hard way. Swept us.

Any given Sunday though, should be a fun run down the stretch.

Thanks a lot. Marty coaching can't stop us either (though I think he's finally caught up on the times). First Elway breaks the curse, then Cowher. Now it's Marty turn.
It would also be nice if we get a ring then everyone in the division would have at least 1. Speaking of which, if that happens would we be the only division to have something like that happen? Are there any other divisions that have teams that all won championship?

No. The AFC East came close to having five teams with Lombardis when Buffalo had their chances, but only if you count the Colts Baltimore entry.

Yeah I think the Chargers are clearly the best team in football with Castillo and Merriman in the Lineup. Makes their d so much better. That would be funny to see a saints chargers matchup in the Superbowl with Rivers and Brees.

That would be interesting wouldn't it. Could you imagine the media frenzy? I mean this could have easily turned ugly for both NO and SD. But somehow, it worked out for both. NO got their franchise QB and SD got theirs. It worked out well for both teams.
Heck, the Saints could be like the 94 Chargers team. A team that didn't have any business being in the Superbowl. They just had a lot of heart. And those guys certainly played their hearts out tonight. I turn on the Sunday Night Game expecting Dallas to be blowing them out, and to my surprise and joy, the Saints are kicking their ass. lol.
Of course, it just goes to show you how weird the NFC is. I mean Brees is gold against NFC teams, but he's 1-3 against AFC teams, which certainly favors us. But like LT said, it's definitely too soon to think about Superbowl. It's all about finishing business and getting the first seed. That's the goal right now.

Oh and just to show you how bad it was for us. For the longest time I thought we were cursed, especially at the QB position. I think I referred to it as the Leaf curse. Just be glad you guys have a good coach like Shannahan. I see some threads talking out him and his decision to start Cutler, and to those people, I don't think you know what you got until it's gone. Like we did with Boss Ross. Ah man that was another position that I thought was cursed.

It was odd with Castillo. We read all week that he was going to start, and when he's introduced, Cesaire walks out instead? Next thing I know Castillo's getting sack.

Don't let Scheffler leave. Dude's got some skills.

I joke a lot about that curse. And it's probably true to an extent. But how many playoff games did he lose due flukes. Man, he has never had a team as talented as this before so I'm hoping it's enough.

If he can't win with this team he can't win ever. This is the most complete team I have seen since Denver in 97 and 98.

We are thick furred enought to take anything a troll can throw at us but thanks for the sentiment.

I'm not going to rant...SD owned us, but if you looked at stats you wouldn't know it. Your perfectly correct that the game was closer than the score after I looked at the gamebook.

The Roidinator dominated our green LT filling in, Champ missed his weekly pick in or near the end zone giving of a TD, and again, the playcalling was very suspect. Shanahan seems to act more like a Texas Holdem' poker player every week. BRB...Had to fix the quilt for kitty...He's picky...heh.

We should thank the Chargers for exposing the monstrous holes in our defense. The shtick that Sahanan tried to blow smoke with...we all knew he was thowing into the fire. People with any sense knew he would struggle and we might miss the playoffs. Kitty cat made it on the quilt once I straightened it up

We have a bit of an easier home stretch and might still reach 10 6. I bet the clown at www.fireshanahan.com is creaming his jeans tonight.

Chargers look like the class of the league. I hope Marty does not try to take control in the play-offs.

Congrats, at least there some classySD fans. I have been in SoCal for a month or so now and have been hearing it from a bunch of guys who just jumped on and don't really know the history of SD or even the NFL. SD is the only other AFC west team I don't hate, but some of the fans are trying to make me, but a post like yours is classy. SD is the best team in Football and should go all the way and LT is a great player and handles himself how players should. Hopefully you pound chefs into submission.
