It's a 4Cyl Chevrolet Cavalier
Wondering when the Fuel Filter needs to be changed. I'm at 65K miles, also when do you recomend having the Fuel Injectors cleaned? and what other things would you service. Thanks! |

not too sure, but the fuel filter is generally changed every 30k or 50k. fuel injector cleaning, i did it once for the explorer i had, in 65k miles. dont know what the requirements were, i usually run mid grade fuel, and i never noticed any difference.

also, as far as maintenance goes, heres what i roll every vehicle no matter
oil every 3k. tire rotation every other oil change. alignment every other oil change. air filter,(i use KN) cleaned every year. plugs wires 50k. coolant flush yearly.(maybe less if you use the fancy lifetime stuff). transmission(auto) like 36k. rear end and manual tranny, maybe 50k? good ideas but not neccessary, brake fluid flush maybe at the 75k mark, power steering flush same time frame. belts and hoses, are as needed or as recommended by the guy doing the sevice. |
