All right guys, I need some help. One of my best friends is getting married in January, and we're throwing a bachelors party for him because his little brother/best man is a little too young. I have most of the night planned, except for the fact that we need a little boozing done before we get too far into the evening. We're going to be around the 16th Street Mall most of the night (with the evening ending around Glenarm). I was going to go with the Blue Martini, but it closed down over a year ago (and I'm still mourning it dammit). The Purple Martini might be where we go, but it's a little too, um..."techno" for me.
Think somewhat classy (i.e. no sororrity girls saying "OhMiGod" every 10 seconds), but not too expensive. |

When we were in Denver in early September, we went to Coyote Ugly... it seems that might be a good venue for a bachelor party...

Coyote Ugly has good looking bar tenders but it might be too amatureish for your tastes. There is a bar called Spill. I believe it is right near where Blue used to be. Another cool bar that we went to for my Bachelor party was this Russian bar, not the Russian Cafe, near writers square. We had this Vodka that was just amazing. There is supposed to be a cool bar on top of the new hotel that was built near the convention center. I have heard cool things about that place as well.

I've heard of Spill. I might have to make a trip down to Denver this weekend to scout it. I'll check out the other one as well.

Paramount Cafe on 16th has cheap booze and a decent crowd. It's owned by the same group that own Marlow's and Gov's Park.

Spill is awesome, went there not this last time but the time prior that I was in Denver.
Then again, you can never forget about good ol' Willies for a bachelor party! |

We went to Diamond for my Bachelor Party. We started at ESPN Zone for dinner and to meet up, then we went to the Vodka bar, and then we hit Diamond. Best part about the place was that it was the night of the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Maiorga fight so they were showing it all over the place. After the fight we did the guy thing and looked at boobies for a bit and left.
