Z560 - KLZ is losing ESPN on January 1 and will replace it with Sporting News radio. ESPN is mostly fluff and I have not ever heard Sporting News radio. Is it any good?

Does anyone know what station is picking up ESPN?

Tim Neverett and Jim Armstrong's Press Box show is my favorite local talk show. Dick Kreck's column in yesterday's Post indicated they would be moving to another station. Does anyone know any details on that move?

sporting news radio is not bad, but yeah, I'd be more interested in what happens to the press box.

Surprising - I've heard some sportingnews radio and I think espn is better. Agree that the Press Box show is the best one KLZ has - glad it isn't going away completely and will find another home (KLZ had a strong local signal though - hope their new home is as good)

CRAP!

Just heard Armstrong will be a third wheel with Irv and Joe beginning 1/1. Neverett's destination is undetermined. Hope this is just temporary till 950 can re-arrange its schedule and match up Armstrong and Neverett in a different time slot.

ESPN will be moving to KCKK 1600, currently a C&W station.

Armstrong was always a guest host when either Irv or Joe were out of town and he was also on the Power Hour on Fridays with them before he went to 560.

Amen to that! I originally bought Sirius for Howard Stern, but it also has the added benefit of carrying all NFL games including a great selection of talk radio.

Love it.

Sirius is very cool. Sometimes it's great listening to bronco games from the opponent perspective.

That sucks! I just can't stomach Irv and Joe anymore. I really respect Irv because of his background but Joe just drives me insane. Its like he knows exactly what each team is thinking and damn you for thinking otherwise. First he dogged Jake Plummer saying he couldn't get us anywhere, this was last year and after the Champ game. Then Denver makes the switch and Denver has just lost it. He just spouts off to make noise. It would be cool if Armstrong could get a show all his own.

Except when the announcers go crazy for their teams touchdowns. It's like salt in the wounds, especially this past weekend. One of the announcers was even poking fun at Cutler in subtle, depressing ways.

Still, great to have.

I heard some of those SD clips. The way I look at it, enjoy it while it lasts. The Broncos is an organization that never stays down long. I have full confidence Cutler will make them go wow in the not to distant future. Call me a Homer if you want!
