Default These S.D. fans are like...

Mushrooms after a rain. They are popping up under every tree and bush. Wherever an old dog turd has dropped they are pushing up through the ground.

Hey, S.D., do you know what you've won? Nothing. There is plenty of football to play so try and keep your feet on the ground.

Someone is going to punk your squad and I dearly hope that it is the Broncos this weekend.

That's all I have to say for now.

P.S. Rivers is a prick. Where is Romo when you need him to deliver the crown of his helmet into a chin?

Every ten years or so, they pop their heads out, and then retreat once it gets cut off never to be seen again.

First, I don't think we have seen alot of pricks here from SD, and I also think they have a SB caliber team.

I'm not sure why Rivers is a prick but whatever.

I will agree with taco they are like that little game at chucky cheese where golphers pop up and you give the the rubber hammer. It's not big deal. They have earned the right to strut a little.

Not a lot...at least here...

But isn't that they never are seen again contrary to your original point of every ten years they are seen?

Charger fans were pretty invisible for the NYE Day game last year.

The Chiefs are going to sweep the Chargers.

If Denver helps out, the Chiefs will win the AFC West, because SD will lose in Seattle.

High hope chefs can win both road games. Boob, chefs are doing nothing this year, they just blew a 14 pt lead in the 4th Q against a backup QB in the middle of a playoff push. HELLO(in my best sperman edwards voice).

PS Replay on NFL channel in 10 minutes.

You are an optomist...no doubt...but here is what I see happenin...

Chiefs and Broncos are cooked...I know its bad karma to be realistic, but come on.

SD will feast on Broncos this weekend. Broncos rookie, on the road, Chargers are playing their ass off, they Have LT, Broncos have the Bronco Defense. Oh, Broncos also have no run and they have sorry special teams.

Chiefs will be close just cause its Arrowhead. But before the games over, Herm will fail to see his game plan is falling and wont make any adjustments.

Both Shanny and Herm will have some great onliners to explain the fall. Neither will say my game plan sucked. Nor will either say anything about why you insert rookie in key time of season and expect better play all around.

I do think the Chiefs have a good chance at the playoffs still. Even if they lose to us they have two home games (in December which they never lose) and a road game at sorry azz Oakland. I think they can get to 11-5.

Denver will lose to us and beat Arizona and San Fran. The Cincy game is what could break Denver's playoff hopes. They may not be able to generate enough offense to hang with Carson & co.

Cutler better get up to speed quick.

Its funny you mention this. At the Texas/aTm game I saw a guy wearing a Chargers hat in my section. My first reaction was "poser" and "ban wagon jumper." I mean really how often in the past 10 years have you seen a single chargers hat, while just out in public. Anyone else have a simular reaction?

If your basis for assessing Charger Fans and the number of them is what you see in College Station Texas at a Texas A and M Game then, as we say in the statistic business, your sample is flawed, poorly defined, and the results are not projectible.

You could surmise, based on your data, that Animal Science majors who go to footballgames in Texas on Saturdays may not be inclined to wear a Chargers Cap. That is a valid conclusion.

There are no true charger fans..period. In the last 2 weeks ive seen more glossy new bolt stickers appear on more "soccer mom" suv's than ever! All of the sudden the fair weather fans are coming out of the woodwork everywhere. Its actually really fun to test these ass clowns at work on just basic trivia and watch them scew it all up. Everyone where i work has just now come to the realization that the chuggers actually went to the superbowl in 95. When the Rams play well the same thing happens. TRUST ME, nowhere in the counrty are people bigger fairweather fans than socal. Its pathetic.

hopefully they'll still be around when Marty chokes. Rivers and Cutler should have some memorable matchups over the next decade.

Well then I'm gonna analyze the number of chargers fans at the game in san diego on NYE of 2005. Once the rains began the chargers fans were washed away. It was louder in the stadium when the broncos did stuff...and they weren't boos. And by the way your coach....he's a known choker. Someone should send marty a copy of the drive. Ask him when he has done anything in the post season. By my count since the last time the charges won a playoff game the Broncos have been to 4 AFC Championship games, and won 2 super bowls.
As far as charger fans...there's only one and its because of the sissy powder blue unis.

i sat next to a couple SD fans at our home game, and even THEY commented on how many fair weather charger fans have sprouted like weeds.
these two flew out for the game and were good guys, but the 10 or so turds above us were a different story.
like the colts fans earlier in the year, they were loud, obnoxious, and had NO clue what was going on at most points of the game.
annoying.

...i guess the ADD generation fan isnt just a denver trend.
