Man, it's years of practice. It's all about the angle at which you spread. I never have a bread tear - never! And I won't ever use the creamy peanut butter. As for the jelly, I only use preserves - it has to have chunks of fruit in it, or I won't use it. And I put peanut butter on one piece of bread; jelly on the other. Then I put them together to make the sammich. Oh, and I cut it first, because the bite right in the middle with no crust is a little piece of heaven. By cutting the sammich in half, you get two of those bites.

You should go get yourself a loaf of Wonder and a jar of extra crunchy peanut butter, and then just practice. You'll get the hang of it eventually, and there'll be no looking back.

One time, when I was starving, it was late and not much food to go on, I made a peanut butter tortilla sandwich.

But man, sometimes it feels like I'm having an orgasm in my mouth when I have one of those burritos.
Hmm? Have you meet Blart here at the Mane or something? Let us not even go there. I am more worried about this than tortillas and PB which is no biggie.

You will teach me the way, no? I have four of these guys after me because I cant make a good PB&J sandwich. I stole Johnny's girlfriend and it is tough because he can afford the organic and preserves. I am from Encino and I even have to have my Mom and the beat up station wagon take me to the store to buy these inferior products. It is embarrasing. We are having a sandwich make off and I have 4 months to accomplish this feat. Johnny goes to culinary school with his buddies. I cant afford it and i dont have the time. Can you teach me o' master of the sandwich?

Sure. I have always felt that if I can just help one person, it will all be worth it.

One time me and my brother were staying up late and he asked me to make some PB&J sandwiches. I ended up making like 8 of them, and he was like "Holy crap dude, I didn't mean to make 8!"
Don't think we ended up eating all of them, unfortunately.

Sounds like Taco Bell would be right up your alley John.

I love Taco Bell, but man do I miss the 1/2 pound bean burrito especial
That was awesome, I don't like the cheesy bean and rice nearly as much, why did they take that away? I'm crying on the inside now, especially my stomach.

Dont mock my wants. Taco Bell is far from qualifying. I said I want 4 flies buzzing around , not in my burrito. Plus Chad works the cash register and all spanish after that. Quite not it. I do like Don Jose over El Torito though.

El Torito is an OK restaurant. By the way your ducks are winning 2-0 over my kings.

make it 3 and 0. Im watching both USC UCLA and that game. Worst time to put this rivalry on. I cant believe they would put the football game on the same time as the Ducks game. Unbelievable. BTW El Torito is good for drinks and sunday brunch.

I was probably like 10 when this happened, my brother 16. I think I ended up eating like 3-4 of them, I don't think my brother finished his half.
I'm sorry I wasn't like Jay Cutler, who could probably eat 100 PB&J sandwiches when he was 10.

Big Deal. Tedy Bruschi not only could eat 100 PB & J sandwiches at 10, he requested this instead of breast milk when he was a toddler. He also ate the plastic wrapping around the bread.

We need more threads like these and less of the idiotic ones like this one was intended to be until we hijacked it.

One time, my nephew was working at Taco Bell. Some guy comes through the drive through in a big old truck, grabs my nephew's arm, drags him halfway through the window, and screams in his face, "Did you spit in my f-in' burrito, little man?"

They called the police, but they never apprehended the suspect. It made the little Jefferson County newspaper, though (I think it was the Sentinal - do they still have the Sentinal?).

Damn I missed another food thread. Never opened this one up because the thread starter is a total tool and didnt see the point.

I sure do like a good reuben sandwich or and italian type deli sandwich.

Thank Dr. Broncostein to get the hijacking going. Almost anytime Matt starts a thread, this is what should happen. And Mods need to see it for what it is worth. Quality literature at its finist.

You really didnt think we would talk about that moron for 9 whole pages, did you? I think people have responded to him then realized that is old news and food is what it is about, edit the post and put the correct topic on board.

Reubens are good, I like them, this place here makes them pretty good.
I prefer something Italian and spicy for a sandwich.
Is it wrong of me for wanting to try one of those giant Burger King stacker burgers?

Capriotti's blows Subway and Quizno's away. They're not in every state yet, but they're spreading out.
