We use a lot of peanut butter in our house. My kids go through the stuff like water. Sam's Club has some pretty good deals if you buy the giganto tub...

I like creamy Jiff, not the chunky. Skippy and Peter Pan are too sweet.

eeee. that sounded almost homo erotic.

But, back to the sandwiches...

Matt, we hijack the thread to end such a stupid thread to start. Now, more important is sandwiches. You either talk about sandwiches are get the hell out of our ship Mr. Captain of the Bounty. Bly, you need to shove some foot long sandwiches in your pie hole to shut you up. Now which one do you want?

Actually, I just buy what's on sale - usually the store brand. But your observation that some are "too sweet" intrigues me, Sodak. Expand on those observations for my consumer benefit please ...

I can't stand creamy peanut butter. Peanut butter is about the peanuts, man. Taking out the peanuts flies in the face of everything peanut butter is about. Hence, the name "peanut butter."

The key to a good peanut butter and jelly sammich is the bread. I prefer Wonder, because it is so soft.

White Castle is the most disgusting place i've ever been to. The only reason i ate more than one is that i was starving and i had to justify buying a 20 pack for me and two friends.. It's a good idea, but the cheese is just NASTY and the bottom of the bun is usually soggy. Sounds like something those rats out east would love, i guess.

Yeah, but have you ever tried the un-sweetened peanut butter?

My recently-departed father loved it. He sadi after two jars, he could never go back.

Reminded me of how I feel about soda ... once you go DIET, you're sugar intake is QUIET...

Oh man. I was going to New York on business once, and a guy I was travelling with asked if I ever had White Castle. He went on and on about it, so I was pretty excited. It truly was the nastiest food experience I have ever had. There's a reason they call them sliders (probably more than one), and I will stop there to protect the innocent.

I'll check it out. It's a concept that appeals to me, because it stays true to the peanuts' mission.

Let me know how you spread that bumpy peanut butter on wonderbread. Too thin and weak to spread IMO. I tried but gave up. I just ended up putting the PB on celery. And dont try to tell me to put the jelly on first then the PB. It doesnt work like that. It is called "Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich for a reason not vise versa. You can add a sliced banana on a PB sandwich too if no jelly on it. You can do it with jelly but i wouldnt tell anyone about it.

I just remembered that Panera, a sandwhich shop for those who don't know, sued the mall they were in because they were allowing a Qdoba, mexican burrito place(Chipotle like). Apparentally, Panera had an agreement that the mall wouldn't let another sandwhich place set up shop in the mall, and so Panera was saying that burritos were sandwhiches. Crazy.
For me, I like spicy sandwiches. Also, apparentally 7-11 has good sandwiches, I buy the turkey and swiss there for my fiancee and she loves them. I like the jalapeno cheeseburgers there too.

all that jiffy skippy crap is horrible for your arteries. all the preservatives or something, the school trainer told me to avoid those like the plague. you want the more natural stuff that has the like oil at the top, haha i dont know all the names, but you dont want the jiffy skippy crap.

oh and another regional fast food chain that i like is chick-fil-a, when we went to the peach bowl last year we figured we had to try those. actually pretty good. very simple, i like just the chicken on the bread but it tasted very good. i dont like much crap on my sandwiches. whenever i go to a place, i just get the meat and cheese on the sandwich.

do yall have a place called chipotles? that place is just amazing. thats where like every kid my age goes. its like mexican food but not really mexican cuz its not spicy. place is amazing. around my school there are some ghetto mexican places that are amazing, cheap too.

I freakin love Chipotle, but there aren't any here in Norman, OK. I used to have Chipotle like at least 3-4 times a week.
One time, I tried to eat 2 burritos at once. Came close, but those are so filling.

The black beans are a lot healthier than refried too from what I understand

Ghetto mexican places are the best. You have to have at least 4 flies buzzing around in the hole in the wall to be authentic. If more or less, I walk out. I want my waitress/waiter to also be the fat owner. The cook should be a family memeber. If the kids are working the floor, I like to see the wife beater or white shirt with the chain hanging. If a Chad or a Kurt is working there, I am out. I want spanish coming from not only the back but the front. The topper is them selling garage sale crap at the front counter. Chipotles is a great fat person eatery. Those burritos are huge! BTW: We have Chick Fil a in SOCAL for the last few years.

At Chipotle, I usually order a steak burrito with black beans, rice of course, with the mild sauce, a little bit of the hot sauce, cheese, sour cream and sometimes I add lettuce or gaucamole. Dont' usually get the guacamole since its like $1 for a scoop of it.
But man, sometimes it feels like I'm having an orgasm in my mouth when I have one of those burritos.
