I have Kitna as well, but I'm not even going to go there.

Palmer. The Ratbirds secondary can be beaten by the deep ball and the Bengals love to throw it.

Seabags have the 18th ranked passing defense in the NFL and Holmgren is owned by Shanahan. |

Their defense is still the number on fantasy defense in the league and the Bengals o-line sucks. I have to choose between the Seahawks D and the Ravens D for this weekend. Not sure what to pick...

Palmer w/o a doubt
the biggest weakness of the ratbirds is the deep ball playing at home..national TV? you never start a rookie in his first start ever take off the orange colored glasses when making fantasy choices |

In the league which I have already been killed (3-9 record) I am starting Cutler over Brady this week. This just adds even more fuel to the fire

I can see that since you have no chance of making the playoffs but if you were in the playoffs, you wouldn't start him would you? |

I usually don't get involved in fantasy football discussions, but I think Green will have a good game (unfortunately).

I voted Palmer. His stats have been pretty good the last few weeks and suggests he might be getting back in full grove again. Cutler making his first start in primetime, its cold, and against a decent team. He might do great but chances are he probably will have some DOH plays as well.

Palmer will go for a couple TD's and a pick.
Cutler may go for 1 td maybe 2. It really is a tough decision, but Palmer would be my guy, I got the Bengals pulling the upset unfortunately. |

look at past performance. Palmer lights up Baltimore. Hell even earlier this year, if a TJ Houshawhada gets the PI that should have been called for his mugging than they're in business and driving for the win. Palmer and Johnson have been lighting them up for 2 years now. Nothings changed.

No. Palmer is on a passing team, if Cutler can come in and open up our passing game Shanny will try and get the run going again.

I'm putting in Palmer. The way he's been playing lately makes him a must start. I'm thinking of packaging him and Gore to get LT next year though. The guy who has LT needs a QB, and also has LJ. He'll probably shoot down the offer, but somebody in the league needs to break those two up!

The Bengals one-dimensional (passing) offense is heating up, and you never know if the Broncos will get it done on the ground or the air... it's safer to take Palmer in Cutler's first week and see how the rookie does against Seattle first.

Bump to those that said Cutler.
!!I'm sorry I don't care how big of a fan you are, it is stupid to even think Cutler was worth starting over Palmer in that situation. If you think otherwise I would like for you to play in fantasy league next year. |

I wasn't comfortable with either match-up. Cutler being a rookie, and Palmer going against Baltimore... My general theory is you go with the fantasy stud no matter what the match-up is, but Carson Palmer hasn't been exactly a stud all year. Thankfully, though, I put in Palmer and got his 16 points. It wasn't enough to win the match-up though. Oddly enough, I ended up getting screwed by Denver's defense.
