We have so many things going wrong this year that I don't think swapping in the rookie is going to fix anything but this offense is going nowhere as is. I waited and waited hoping they would get their **** together and it never happened. All they did was piss away a playoff berth. I know that the blame really isn't squarely on Plummer's shoulders but watching him fumble the ball on third and seven against SD just made me sick. He recovered and we kicked a FG when we needed a TD and I knew we were going to lose. Then the INT right off the bat against the Chiefs with no playmaking throws to balance that out. Made me sick. Just sick. Who knows? Maybe a move like this will shake everyone up. Increase focus. Snap them out of their funk. Ah well. It's on Sunday Night Football so at least I get to watch my Broncos. |
