That thread was a set up to see if the people not wanting to start Cutler because he would be physiologically damaged or injured or ruined in some way because he was thrown to the wolves too soon would stick to their reasoning but almost all of them reversed themselves and scolded me for the thread saying things like Cutler is a football player and needs to be treated like one, needs to be tested etc. Interesting how opinions can change when your starting QB stinks up the joint.

Given the season we have had Jay does give us the best chance to make it to the big dance. The timing is perfect, a 5 game run to peak for the playoffs. The D and ST and O feeding off the arm of Cutler. Everyone playing better and better with hope that long pass can be completed, running better routes because they believe.

Football is a game of emotion and Cutler has a great chance to spark that in spades in the Broncos

I didn't say we would win, just get there. That's as far as my crystal ball can see.

Heh, that would be nice but assuming the media reports are true it's more like our season is done. It's amazing. We have so many things going wrong this year that I don't think swapping in the rookie is going to fix anything but this offense is going nowhere as is. I waited and waited hoping they would get their **** together and it never happened. All they did was piss away a playoff berth. I know that the blame really isn't squarely on Plummer's shoulders but watching him fumble the ball on third and seven against SD just made me sick. He recovered and we kicked a FG when we needed a TD and I knew we were going to lose. Then the INT right off the bat against the Chiefs with no playmaking throws to balance that out. Made me sick. Just sick. Who knows? Maybe a move like this will shake everyone up. Increase focus. Snap them out of their funk. Ah well. It's on Sunday Night Football so at least I get to watch my Broncos.
