Default Discipline Problems in House

I want to point out that one thing I observed the last two weeks particularly, but something that has gotten worse since the Indy game. Our team penalties. And these are the ref's fault. Its our team discipline. Hands to the head of a QB is an automatic roughing the passer call. Earth to Gerard Warren...did you miss that memo THREE YEARS AGO. Small things like holding have gotten worse and more obvious, BEN HAMILTON YOU CANNOT TACKLE A D LINEMAN WHO SHOULD BE SACKING YOUR QB RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF. Shanny has constantly had a team that was very disciplined on the field. No stupid calls or at least very few dumb things happening, but with all the strife between him and Jake I think that Shanny's focus is gone. He spends more time trying to coach a veteran than working with the true problem on the team.

Am I the only one that sees the discipline problem?

I know someone should disipline that ref that called the roughing the passer call on pretty much nothing.

how about Demitrin Veals idiot offsides on 3rd and 7 that was a stop, instead it kept the drive alive and KC got a field goal.

He hit the helmet of TrINT Green. Pretty much a gimmie.

Digest of Rules

Use of Hands, Arms, and Body

1. No player on offense may assist a runner except by blocking for him. There shall be no interlocking interference.

2. A runner may ward off opponents with his hands and arms but no other player on offense may use hands or arms to obstruct an opponent by grasping with hands, pushing, or encircling any part of his body during a block. Hands (open or closed) can be thrust forward to initially contact an opponent on or outside the opponent’s frame, but the blocker immediately must work to bring his hands on or inside the frame.

Note: Pass blocking: Hand(s) thrust forward that slip outside the body of the defender will be legal if blocker immediately worked to bring them back inside. Hand(s) or arm(s) that encircle a defender—i.e., hook an opponent—are to be considered illegal and officials are to call a foul for holding.

Blocker cannot use his hands or arms to push from behind, hang onto, or encircle an opponent in a manner that restricts his movement as the play develops.

3. Hands cannot be thrust forward above the frame to contact an opponent on the neck, face or head.

Note: The frame is defined as the part of the opponent’s body below the neck that is presented to the blocker.

I would rather have a OL take a holding penalty than get our QB killed. THEY shouldn't be in such a bad situation but I would rather them do that than get our QB hurt.

Hamilton was a hero for taking down the lineman. Ask every offensive player on the team if they back him for not letting Jake take a full shot from a D-lineman. My bet is they all think Hamilton did the right thing.

Ekuban was playing tired, I bet he is still a little hurt.

I haven't seen Warren do much of anything this season. Veal may have jumped offsides, but he seems to play with heart every snap. He chases players all the way to the sideline. I haven't seen Warren do that since the first half of last year.
