![]() Carme.....er wait, not from Carmelo?!?!? JR Smith exploded for 36 last night to go along with Melo's 29 points. I hope there is more to come like this from Smith. So far, I have really liked the kids play and his chemistry with Melo. Camby was awesome again, with 13-15-5. And perhaps the best part about last night, NO EARL BOYKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and 5-1 without Kenyon!! |

![]() That was a big FU game from Smith to the Bulls. I read an article about the Nuggets practice from the day before and I guess Carmelo was teasing JR by yapping, "They traded you!" over and over at him. Must have sunk in, the kid was amazing against the team he was a part for about 20 minutes.
Earl Boykins missed the game with the Flu and no one seemed to notice. The only problem with him missing the game is that the Nuggets were down to one point guard instead of the usual 1 1/2. Reggie Evans deserves a ton of credit for this one. The Nuggets were lifeless in the 3rd quarter, down by 13 and looking like they were ready to fold up the tents until Evans came in and sparked them off the bench. The energy and hustle he brings to the floor seems to be pretty infectuous. |

![]() Don't look now, but the Nuggets have won 6 out of 7 since that nasty 0-3 start.

![]() It's a real shame that he did that because Evans has turned out to be a very solid player, but that incident is what he's best known for. No one to blame but himself for it. Way it goes.
The guy had 9 points and 14 rebounds in 15 minutes against the Warriors last night. The Nuggets are 6-1 since Karl unchained him from the bench. |

![]() Smith and Anthony hit the 30 mark last night again. Another decent win and a pretty good run going without Nene.

Yeah, worried about the D, but it didn't get real ugly defensively until the game was essentially ours. Not sure I liked Anthony coming back out there, but a win's a win and we are 7-1 w/o K-mart. So we haven't necessarily played an elite team in that, but was K-mart a locker room cancer, or just deadweight on the court?? How is it Najera and Evans are handily replacing the guy? |

![]() Man, what a quick little turnaround after we all left them for dead at 0-3.
7 of the last 8 putting us at the 7-4 mark. Not too shabby considering the start. And JR putting up numbers recently is nice. Big test tonight against the Clippers, who have recently been the Broncos to our Patriots. |

We'll see this year...Melo got ejected in the 1st game and they didn't have/lost Kaman and Casell in this one. It will be a fiesty series this regular season. |

![]() Melo getting some love from the Dime....
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailyd...t&lid=tab1pos3 "5. If you were starting a team with a player not named LeBron, who would it be and why? Runners-up? Carmelo Anthony. The best offensive player in the game right now. He's unguardable by one person. Even the best defenders in the league will tell you this. Too big and strong for guards, and too quick for big men. His shooting touch pulls it all together. " |
