Just wondering if anyone has heard if Tatum is expected back Thursday and, if so, will he start given the strong performances by Mike and Nash?

I doubt he will get the start. He may dress but being inactive on a Sunday night game due to injury and then starting that thursday I think that is a stretch. I think MBell and/or Nash get the call again and we may dress 3 RBs. Who know at this point. Maybe Jake is inactive and Rod is the backup

I think the Mike Bell/ Damien Nash combo was the best our ground game has looked all year. Both run very hard, and over the course of a game could really wear down a defense. Tatum doesn't take much out of a defense.

Tater has turf toe it isn't going to be healed by Thursday. I hope he doesn't start he can't make the cuts and has lost his burst. Play MBell and Nash and give Tater some runs and work him back into it. Don't give him 20 reps or he will regress again.

If he really has Turf Toe in both feet... We may as well sit him for about a month. Honestely i think the combo of Mike Bell and Nash is better anyways.

I think Tatum starts, Nash and Mike both see carries though. Playing such a short week it really pays off to have an RB who's fully rested. |

Bell, Nash, Tatum. That should be the order.

I'd really like to see Nash out there some more. I was really impressed with his performance out there last night!

Hell, with the way Jake is playing might as well as run 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down! Dress em all!
btw... did anyone feel like we were running on 3 and 4,5, etc more often than anytime this season. Shanahan has absolutely no confidence in Jake anymore... and rightfully so. |

Give me Mike Bell as the starter with Nash taking reps. The more we can stay away from Tater the better.

Nash ran well last night, but I more impressed with Mike Bell pass catching and pass blocking. He slowly learn what it means to be a pro, and I think he showing what all the buzz was about him in training camp.

Tatum played very well at the beginning of the season but what I see from Mike and Nash is running with a purpose. They drive hard EVERY play and never give up on a play.

ABLE="on"> Hey? Where are all the posters who said Nash was a failure after 4 carries? | Anyways, I used to be a blind Tatum supporter. Despite my misgivings towards his weak running-style and lack of physicality, he's productive...and I can't deny that. I'm just getting really, really tired of seeing him curl up in his little defensive ball and get rode down by the weakest of tacklers. He's a weak runner, and I'm getting very tired of it. And now, with his injuries, it's exponentially worse! I only hope that Shanahan dresses all three backs... |

I was one of those, I thought he looked just ok. But thats why I am not a coach. He had some purpose to his runs as did Mike Bell. Tater has resorted to falling down when he is flicked. Injuries may be the cause but I say dress him and work him back in. Shanny has proven he will start the best player that day, minus the QB position, so start MBell play Nash and play Tater, that order.

Between watching Tatum and Jake, its enough to drive a man off the deep end...
I can't wait until its JAY, Nash and Mike, with JAVON making big play after big play over the top. |

Mike Bell should be the guy. He may not go the distance a lot but he'll keep the chains moving. Nash was for 5 carries -3 yards in the second half. Any running back could have gone through that hole on his one big gain. I was more impressed with his receiving than his running.
