Surprise, I like his commitment to the school, but he needs to leave. To many things can happen and he guaranteed 1st round money.

i dont think he is that guaranteed. there are a lot of underclassmen and seniors that have stepped it up even more this year. obviously calvin johnson but ted ginn has shown he can take more touches, samardzjia has stepped it up another level and IMO, will not be playing baseball. dwayne jarrett and steve smith have both played well, being the constants on the USC team when not injured. dwayne bowe and craig davis have both been playing extremely well for LSU with great YPC and TDs, there is even talk of superstar early doucet coming out early. rice still has the possibility of two years of college. if i were him, id probably stay and hope for a talent drain in this years draft putting him higher up on the boards next year.

Rice can ball. gators were afraid to play up on him and their D is stellar. Other than C. Johnson, he may be the best all around WR in this draft...Considering all things like routes, speed, blocking, etc.

there are different types of receivers, guys like ted ginn jr. rice hasnt shown up much in big games(arkansas aside and a couple others). rolled coverage? i dont know but scouts wont like that. dwayne jarrett & samardzjia could be drafted in front of him, all three are similar players. that could put him as the 5th receiver drafted as opposed to being the top receiver drafted next year in all likelihood. im just saying that its not a slam dunk either way.
