Of course they did. Whatever happened in the past 48 hours trumps everything for the bobbleheads.

They are media darlings. Have been for the past few years. I can't remember how many times I've heard that in the last 3 years.
We'll see. |

The Chargers are the all-hype team of the past two seasons.
Despite the success over the past two seasons, the Broncos will get no hype. I saw Ron Jaworski, the village idiot, literally dismiss the Broncos from the "elite" category last night by reasoning that they werent in the same class as the Clots, the Chargers, the Pats, The Bears, etc., when the Broncos have proven that they are. Why Jaworski has a job there is beyond me. Mike Ditka hit Jaworski and Irvin both pretty hard with a nice sly jab last night. |

I can not belive what a pass the Chuggers defense gets. They have given up a ton of points. Speaking of passes the Colts get a pass as well for a 14-13 home win over the Bills? Yeah we played like **** last week but is a 17-13 away win over the fade any worse than a 14-13 home win over the Bills? If you want to rip on our team for playing bad fine, but don't give the rest of the "elite" teams a pass when they play like crap too.

I am a little flabbergasted that the Ravens, Patriots OR Chargers are ranked ahead of denver, considering denver beat two of the three, and the Broncos won the west last year. Thats how it goes. Remember, according to Irvin, AFTER denver beat baltimore by 10, he thought baltimore would be the team that improves. Of course, ignore the team that won. Thats a clown for you.

It's amazing how bad defensive is just overlooked in the presence of good offensive play. The Colts and Chargers and in past years the Chiefs are great examples of this. The media just jumps all over these teams saying how great they are just because they sport very good offenses, and it just doesn't matter how bad their defense is.
You take a team like Denver this year with a sub-par offense but a great defense, and we have trouble getting anyone to say we are even a top 5 team in our conference eventhough we hold the #2 seed and have played a brutual schedule so far. |

Well, they are right. San Diego has a better all-around team than the Broncos.

Everyone was tripping all over themselves to talk about how cool it was...who cares what espn thinks. Look at Tom roll his eyes everytime he has to give an opinion about someone else. Ohhh shocking they picked the team that wears the powder blue unis...they love those gay looking jerseys...its all about Berman.

the real question is "Does it really matter who NFL live picks?" they may be right. SD has a better RB and TE then the Broncos.....but games are not won on NFL Live...

well i guess we will see over the last part of the season now wont we? ESPN also said miami would challenge the pats, that arizona would make the playoffs, that romo would ruin the cowboys etc. So lets not put so much stock into what some talking heads in bristol say.

Denver has allowed a league-low 111 points per game. That's 64 points less than the Chargers. The Broncos arent better on that side of the ball?
Denver also has more wins where they count. A better conference and division record. |

lol, I think so too. They have been so overrated. Thier entire team is inconsistent, our QB is inconsistent. If Jake Plummer shows up, we'll win. If Joke Blunder shows up, we'll lose. Unfortunately you never know which one is gonna show up. Maybe he is bi-polar or something?

They have a low esteem for the team because they don't like Plummer. Just that simple.

As long as we have Mike Shanahan on the sidelines the Broncos are capable of beating anyone anywhere regardless of how individuals are performing/underperforming because he can always find those plays that win games and that's the bottom line why this team is one of the most successful in the last 10-15 years in this sport.

Look at who they have beat and who they have lost to. All wins are against sub .500 teams all losses... yep you guessed it against winning teams. |

By a total of 6 points. Both on last minute drives. Not quite Raider-esque. |
