Default Jakeyll and Hyde

Jake Plummer seems like he can only play in one of two modes: Solidly Consistant or Suck. And he can not only do it from game to game, he can do it within the game. He can suck for 3 quarters, and then look like a completely different player for a single drive, digging us out of a hole. Mind you, usually a hole he put us into in the first place.

Can we possibly win 3 or 4 consecutive playoff games against solid teams with Jakeyll and Hyde running our offense? This guy frustrates me to no end.

I give up on the guy. Its just so damn frustrating. And you know we're gonna rely on Jake a lot this next week against that weak secondary. And I really want to root for the guy but man he makes it so tough. Love to see him get a ring here.

It's comical at this point. He was so scatter armed I was literally astounded.

He missed recievers by 10 yards all day.

There wasn't any wind, snow or rain. He just sucked. He made about 10 good throws.

the crazy part is that his off throws were so insane that they couldn't be picked off!

ONly Dumbo in the stands could of caught some of that crap he pitched out.

They were such poor pases even a defender didn't bother with them.

Half his passes were way off target.

It's going to be a low scoring game next week. Just like Jake will bounce back from having a bad game and nearly losing the game to the Raiders, so too will our secondary bounce back from giving up that many yards today (if only for the fact that you guys don't have three very good receiver to deal with like the Bengals). It's going to be a close game like it always is.

Our defense is definitely going to be chewed out this week.

He is garbage, it was easy to see who the better QB from ASU was today. It is definitely Cutler time even he would not have thrown 3 (almost 4) int's today.

He makes some good throws, but he also throw a lot of balls up there and relies on Walker and Smith to go and get em'.

I just can't see how we could possibly win a championship with this guy running the show. On defense, we are improved, but we still need a lot of work. Against the anemic, pathetic Raiders, we looked great. Against the Colts, we looked weak. So our offense will have to bail us out. Jake did just this, playing a great game against the Colts. And the Steelers. AND the Pats. Three good teams, and so I was impressed. But he can barely squeeze wins out against really bad teams. This worries me greatly come playoffs.

Maybe he'll play a good game. Maybe two. But to win against 3 or even 4 very solid teams, he has to play at a bare minimum, "average" football. He didn't play average today. He is so off and on and off again, you just never know what sort of drive he is going to have.

Not sure Jay could do any better either, but at the end of my rope here, and I am guessing Shanahan is too.
