Plummer also made key plays in the 4th and the defense did make some big plays in the 4th as well.

I'm talking about the overall defensive scheme, the raiders let us off the hook playing stupid, any other team, we lose.

I'm exausted.

We played terrible.

Only Oaklands blunders saved us.

They handed the game to us or we rould of lost.

You can't name a single phase of the game we played well at.

Jake managed just a half dozen good passes all game, the OL was crap, the DL was crap..the secondary was crap agains a poor team.

That is a very bad team that we could of easily lost to. Jake was horibble unfortunatly.

Thanks go out to Coach Coyer and the defense for keeping us in this game. That was a scrappy defensive effort in the face of a 3 turnover game.

Those two fumbles at the end saved us, i'd hate to think if they had held onto the ball and drove down field. Inconsistency at the QB position is driving me crazy and the prevent defense we seem to play everytime we have a lead.

Anytime we play that sloppy as team and win on the road it's a great win. Hopefully the gyus refocus...they're used to a bye week right now

The Great Jake had a 3 interception game, and we rushed for less than 100 yards.

I watched in desperate disblief.

Oh well, we will book it...San Diego is going to clean our clock tho.

The scheme was to take away the run and make Andrew Walters beat us. it was perfect.

We won because we were playing the Faders who self imploded on their last two series. had it been another elite team, we lose with Coyers defensive scheme. He seemed, yet again, satisfied to stay in a base defense with an occasional ineffective blitz. We play like this against the Bolts and we're toast. Plain and simple, Coyer has to go.

If you want to put anything on the coaching staff...they didn't have the guys ready to play....they were all sluggish and unfocused early....includng the RT replacement.

But we were playing the Raiders...If it's the Chargers we play a different game

Coyer isn't going anywhere...at least not this season anyway, and in case you didn't see it the Defense was very banged up before this game. The adjustments he {Coyer} made at the half were effective and shut down the passing game by getting to their QB better. So our blocking scheme at the line was improved. The Defense kept the win alive in the second half, by forcing punts and turnovers.

The offense DID suck, (especially Jake, who threw FOUR picks (although the officials amazingly didn't count the last one) and singlehandedly tried to keep the Raiders in the game. Overall Jake rated a D- and the rest of the offense a D+.. ONE effective drive the entire game , but at least it came in the 4th qtr. The first half TD was really ONE play, and not a drive.

And yes, the Chargers will DESTROY the Broncos next week if they play at all like they did today.

This was embarassing....but at least it was a win.

It's true. Some of his comebacks were because he played so crappy the first three quarters.

Yeah laying Blame on Coyer is retarded. He had a patchwork D-Line getting pressure today. John Lynch said in the locker room he didn't even know some of the names on his D-Line. Back of Coyer, the blame today lies in the usual suspect in Jake the Mistake. I also blame TBell either he is still pretty injured or he just has lost his homerun threat. And let me tell you Nash really blew my socks off out there today! Now I see why all the hype was there. Yeah that last part is total sarcasim
