I don't think this actually changes from week to week. I think that people pretty well know where they stand on Jake, regardless of how the rest of the season goes.

More than that, it doesn't matter. He's gone next year regardless of how any of us feel about him.

This would be an easier question if one Jake would show up week to week. But you know we'll never get one Jake. Hopefully no mistake Jake can get a little run going in the playoffs.

Some people HAVE made up their mind that they don't want to see Jake anymore as a starter. A good example of that is some people were looking at our offensive firepower against Indy and STILL blamed Jake for his fumble...

The salary cap is like tea leaves. You can practically read the future if you know what you're looking at. In this case, you don't even need to have a big working knowledge of it. We simply can't afford to tie up that much salary space at the quarterback position, when we're going to have other needs to address next offseason.

There's a slim chance that we decide to keep Jake and Sunny rolls up his sleeves to make it work. But it's going to take some salary cooperation from Jake and others on the team for it to happen.
