Chiefs | Green says he will be ready for Week 10
Fri, 3 Nov 2006 19:23:34 -0800 Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green (concussion) said he would be ready to play in the Week 10 game. Green said, "That's just me. I don't know what everybody else's thoughts are. But in my opinion, yeah, I could play. I've been throwing to receivers now for a couple of weeks. At first it was stationary targets, putting guys in spots. Then last week it became moving targets." |

I'll be the first to admit I thought HUARD would hurt the Chefs badly....he hasn't. I don't think Green will be an upgrade at this point. In fact if he isn't 100% right he may be a downgrade.

I just hope they make the right choice. IMO, Huard has a stronger arm and why would you take out a guy who is on fire right now? Miami sucks this year so hopefully if Green is back we don't have to rely on him to win the game for us himself.

Actually, there's a hot debate over on "Crap Planet" about this. I am firmly in Huard's camp and believe he should remain the starter. The dude has been playing lights out. Slap a #10 on him and you couldn't tell the difference.

Based on that recommendation alone, the Chiefys should seriously consider cutting the guy, bull-doze his home, eliminate his name entirely from the area registries and send him into exile.
It may be the only possible way to avoid the loser cooties |

isn't the combined age of the KC Quarterbacks like over 100 or something?

I never thought he would play as good as he has and was wondering why they just didn't throw the rook in, but I don't watch them in practice. But with that being said who cares anyway, post this garbage at the planet.

Not really. I seriously doubt that TrInt will be the same player he was before the injury. I wouldn't be surprised to see KC keep Huard in the lineup.

Green has a better arm than Huard, but he played pretty bad his last game. Huard is playing good football right now, but Trent has been on the sideline helping the offense and taking mental reps, so I don't know how much that factors. I guess it'll come down to how they look in practice and when the doctors actually clear Green to play.

I heard Edwards say that Green was gonna start as soon as he was able. Sounds good to me!

Yeah, that Little Sister's of the Poor schedule should put fear in every team in the NFL. Oooohhh, you guys are so awesome. Stellar wins against the 49ers, the Cards, and the Seahawks when they were missing the reigning MVP and and their Pro Bowl QB.

The fear should be crazywhores, if green goes in (are all the cobwebs gone?) he hasn't played for quite a long time (will he be effective?) lots of ? there, will herm even pull huard in favor of trint? he seems to be playing ok why change the chemistry.
