RIP. 89-years old, and a pretty full life at that.

RIP RED.
Obviously way before my time, but after reading the Feinstein book "Let me tell you a story" which is all about Red, his stories, his life, etc, I felt really sad when I heard this news. |

First off, I'm sad that he's dead. My only beef with him was the way he hated the American Basketball Association, they called him "The Great Satan." For him to be so smug in saying about the ABA, "Let them rot" and saying the ONLY good player in the league was Dr. J? Lastly how he refused to let his Celtics participate in the ABA/NBA exhibition games (The ABA dominated the NBA starters). Oh well, he did do a lot for the NBA and the city of Boston and though I never really liked him I'm sorry that he's gone. Rest In Peace Red

I hated his guts for years, but bear him no ill will on the other side. He certainly lived a full life.
