Default Tatum Bell Show last night

Did anyone else listen? Tatum's take on the last offensive series was interesting.

Tatum said that after Mike Bell's long run, he had to into the game even though he was too hurt to be effective because Mike was tired from the run and Kyle Johnson was already out of the game so that Sapp had to play FB and could not fill in at RB.

I have to say that's poor coaching. If you are down two RBs, you don't run an injured player into the middle on a critical play. You either (i) pass, (ii) call a time out, or (iii) put Sapp in in a single back set.

I hope your kidding because breaking 2 tackles while running 50 yards while also setting up the broken tackles with cuts is damn tiring for anyone. when every other run he is running for 6-10 yards. Im pretty sure anyone would be tired. Bell had big run after big run. of course he is gonna get gassed. Im not sure if you were joking so thats all ill say

Man... interesting news. Another "what woulda happened" scenario if the proper personnel had been in there. Were Cobbs and Johnson both out last game?

Coming off an ankle injury, and you can only have so many active players. More linemen were active due to a rookie starting at LT.

Well, I'd just as soon de-activate him for this week and let him rest for a while. I mean really, what's the point of running a guy out there with a debilitating when he's already not much of a physical runner? We're facing a pretty tough D, and could use some extra power.

Tatum, you sit. Cedric and Cecil, it's go time!

How is it the coach's fault we're injured? Tatum thought he could play through te pain and he couldn't. Injuries happen in football, people.

Huh? Don't the coaches call the plays? Don't they bear any responibility for calling plays that force injured players to run ineffectively? Don't they have a number of different formations and plays at their disposal, including 1 back sets that would allow Cecil deisel to run the ball?

Yeah, sorta' like you would never ask a RB to help score a crucial touchdown in the Super Bowl, when he was blinded by a severe migraine headache.

And certainly that player couldn't go on to become Super Bowl MVP, and give a certain organization it's first Championship EVER...

That's Ridiculous!!!!

Would never happen...

(Except that it did, and he (TD, although hurt) WANTED to get back in there and help his team. It's amazing what players do when called upon sometimes, (unless they are TO).

Cecil almost pulled it out. He knows the HB plays. They should of kept going to him and Mike Bell. Tater was totally ineffective.

Did Cecil look slow, blind or weak on that great run? Told ya he can carry tacklers with him.

We should give him some carries against the Steelers. We will need a strong runner in this one.

I've been calling for him to get the short yardage carries. Put johnson or even Warren in front of him and let him loose.

Cecil is the man... I watched a few of CSU's games his last season, and I was quite impressed, watching him bulldoze everyone and their mother. Thinkinking to myself... "We need to get this guy... Too bad it will never happen."

Then he fell in the draft (God knows why) and WE GOT HIM!!!!

I was very happy we got him then, and I am happy we have held onto him since.

He's been biding his time, playing behind some pretty talented people. I hope he gets more opportunities in the future, he's one of my all-time favorite Broncos.

GO CECIL!!!
