I saw a lot of positives today:
* Tony Scheffler stepped up and show everyone that he can be a threat in this offense. I was wondering. * Mike Bell looks fantastic out there. He reminds me of a young Olandis Gary. He seems better fit for our 'one cut' style of rushing. He looks like the starter now. We have two great backs to choose from. Not bad. * Our offense looks like it is clicking now. We were able to put together 4 LOOOONNG drives and dominate the ball. If we can keep this up and our defense is able to play half as good as they were playing in the first half of the season, we are going to win a lot of games. * Jake looked efficient out there. He did about as much as a he could do with the little time he had to pass. * Brian Clark looks pretty good returning the ball. He seems aggressive and sure of himself. We might have found somebody. If our offense can keep balling like this, I like our chances come January. We are not a dominate team by any means, but we do have the ability to go deep in the playoffs and if we are able to get some turnovers, we can win it all. We need some luck for this happen, but who doesnt? |

Play that game again today with me choosing the defense ala Madden 2007 and Denver wins in a rout. Guaranteed.

I thought Shanahan choked when he played for the tie at the end of the game instead of the win. With the way Manning was playing, he knew that he was going to score. After Bell's big run, we should have went for the jugular and tried for the td instead of two runs up the middle. |
