Default Another ESPN Radio Rumor: Ichiro on the block?

This was mentioned during the pregame show tonight. Dave Campbell mentioned that the Mariners might field offers for Ichiro this offseason and they said that he'd be a perfect fit for the Giants.

Take it for what it's worth.

BULLSH1T...

Anyways, to me it depends on the return. SF certainly has some nice prospects to fork over, but I can't imagine Seattle ownership folding their tents in the middle of their flash rebuilding attempt. Trading Ichiro would virtually assure the end of both Mike Hargrove and Bill Bavasi (and many, many others) in Seattle as well...Seattle's nothing without Ichiro.

I don't see it, at all.

This is from the same people who said that the Rockies turned down that bounty from Toronto because Pedro Astacio was too popular to trade.

Consider the source.

This would be terrible. Ichiro is a bright spot on a team sorely lacking them.

It would have to be some kind of a blockbuster deal, or the fans would be throwing themselves from the Space Needle.

If Ichiro stays, its probably the end of Hargrove. He lost him awhile ago.
