I think it doesn't need a new thread to bring that up. But that's just me.

I agree w/Baja, but if he does, I want to adopt him now. I've been on the A.P. bandwagon since he's went to Oklahoma. I was a lil upset that Michigan didn't try harder to get this guy. He's an animal!

i take mike hart over adrian peterson. hart's got the downhill running style and is already steeped in the zone blocking scheme.

Poor Tatum, finally gets the starting nod and some people want to draft a new number 1 back. Sad.

AD would be unreal in Denver. I don't see him dropping to 32 but if he did, they better jump all over him. That dude is ready to play in the NFL.

I think once Peterson destroys his individual workout some time in March, he won't make it out of the top 10.

I'd say with all the BS surrounding this guy that Shanny would most likely PASS on him - Adrian has been riddled with contraversy and now has a significant injury to overcome....I wish him luck, but I don't see him falling to #32.

I am thinking more about being stranded on a deserted island with Rachel Hunter, the hot teacher from my daughters kindercare, & Gene Kranz right now. I want Gene there so I have someone to talk to after I have sweaty "BroncoSteve sandwich" lovin.

This is just as likely to happen

He would be wonderful...until that first time he makes contact with anything and shatters. The one thing that this offense takes is a tough resilient back. Injury prone RB's can check pass right on through.

as much as i like that scenario, i doubt it would happen because he is supposedly going to be back by the time Bowl season comes around, so he may fall a little but not enough for us to get him.
A player i think might fall is Mike Bush of Louisville, this guy is 250lbs of chiseled RB, not a fatass like LenDale White, he is just a big dude. He has speed and will power run also, i think he would be awesome in Denver.

A broken collarbone hurts like hell, but it's not like a busted shoulder exactly. Trust me, been there done that in football and damn it hurt. Oakland is going to take him #1 so get your wet dreams out of here.

We need a dominant pass rusher.

We have much bigger problems that need solving. Tatum has shown alot of improvement as a starter and is still improving now. Right now we need some serious talent at DE, which is why I'm hoping we'll draft Adam Carriker from Nebraska.

I'm leery of Nebraska players. They seem to always be busts for some reason.

His Heisman dream is over for this year. I can very well see him coming back to Oklahoma next year for another run at the statue...

Tatum is the guy now. But id be nieve to think Shanny would pass over a RB in this draft.

I can see us geting Hart, or a Bush type back, not an AP, sorry Okie homrs.

I doubt Shanny picks a RB in this draft unless it's in rounds 4-7.

Yeah, those are all more likely of happening than us drafting a running back in the first round. I wish people would accept that and quit fawning over these guys in the first round. We should be excited about the young prospects our staff consistantly can find in later rounds (or even free agents) and coach into pro players. You look at Portis, Droughns and Bell and all are starters on their respective teams and we've received value for all of them greater than our investment.

A second rounder gave us Bailey and another second rounder
A free agent gave us half our defensive line
A second rounder is our starter and looking great.

That's evidence to me that we don't need to use our first round picks on backs.

I don't want us taking a back first...or even second.

I'd rather wait and get a value pick...Kenneth Darby, Selvin Young, DeShawn Wynn...someone with the tools but w/o the press clippings.

Exactly! Why waste first round money on a RB when we can get similar production from later round draft choices.
