Welcome to the 10th Annual "U Brawl"

As an ongoing tradition of the "U" but never officially recognized, the Hurricanes are replacing homecoming with the Miami unique "UBrawl" to be held at an unannounced date during each football season.

Come and see your favorite thug 'gang whip' an opposing player with his helmet or watch a freshman get anointed into the "U" tradition of "stomping a punk ass with my cletus." Horrified alumni are welcomed to throw gang signs throughout UBRAWL.

All proceeds from the event will go to the "U" incarceration fund for rehabilitating paroled felons who wish to turn around their life by playing football for the Hurricanes. The "U" incarceration rehabilitation fund has been an integral part of the Hurricane's success in recruiting. By being able to reach out to overfeloned youth, Miami will continue their commitment to the Florida Penal System by placing some of the most violent offenders on the Hurricanes football team.

Next years "UBrawl" will also feature musical acts, such as the renowned Miami Hurricane prison group "7th flo Crew" who will perform their huge hit, "If yo hoe only know." The group, headed by Hurricane LB Tavares Gooden, has become an alumni favorite for their witty and wholesome lyrics. Gooden, when told his group would be performing at the official "UBrawl" said, "Hell yea, we goona throw down "u" style for all them alumni crabs in the stand. I'm going to make it really nasty for them you know. Throw it down with some 7th flo flavor. Oh, and you know I'm gonna be decked out in all dem jewels dem alumni gave me too. Fo sho."
