I just got done watching the Cardinals game. I was expecting a blowout but what I saw was two crappy teams playing each other.
Basically everything that could have gone wrong for the Cardinals did and they still almost won. Rackers uncharacteristically missed a field goal for the win. Two fumbles that the Cards had but lost on the bottom of the pile were called the other way and the Cards gave up penalties on key plays that would have been loses. A dropped TD in the endzone (on a repeatedly beaten Walls) - just general bad luck that put the Chiefs back into this. The Chiefs just looked bad. LJ has no burst and if he's slowed in his launch he can't do crap. Lots of drops by receivers and they're blocking is average. Also, as we all predicted, Lenny Walls is a freebie for any team that wants to score deep. Not to mention Herm's playcalling was hilarious. He pretty much gave Arizona every opportunity to seal the game. They are probably going to finish with 8 or 9 wins max this season. |

Both teams suck! Leinert has promise and they have some good recivers but Green called a poor game with horrible clock managment on thd drive before last wasting a critical time out that had they saved it would have let them get closer for Rackers.Keep penalites and missed tackles (LJ was stopped dead in the backfield on his 78 yard run and the LB muffed it and let him loose for what amounted to the game winning run.
This just in ... Bledsoe SUCKS big time too~! JUst threw a 102 yard INT to lito Sheppard RIGHT into LItos arms with no Cowboy anywhere near him to seal game for Philly. |

I agree. After an initial shock of underestimating Leinart going deep, the defense settled in nicely. LJ had an off day, but of course still made the play of the day. I have no idea what you are talking about regarding the two fumbles. Both went right back to KC from what I saw. Yes they were lucky to recover, but Arizona didn't get hosed.
Hey, they went on the road and beat a team they should have even when the really had no right to. Seems to me, Denver was unable to do that this year and Baltimore did it a couple of weeks ago vs. Cleveland, yet some people think they are one of the top 3 teams in the league. A win is a win is a win. The GB game in '03 (overtime) was the last time this team won on the road vs an NFC team. They fought back and won when they didn't play well. I'll take it. And no, I'm not delusional. They'll likely get toasted next week in Pittsburgh. Especially if Dante and LJ are subpar or out. |

The Chiefs are a banged up team and aging as well. They also have injuries at key positions . After a game like today's though, I have to give them all the respect in the world for having enough heart to fight back. They went into overtime in one road game at a tough place to play and then lost by only 3 against a supposedly potent offense, and then today they pulled out a road win which is never easy to do.

Realsitically I don't expect The Chiefs to win more than 9 games , but then again I don't see a dominant team in the AFC West So the real question is; Who's going to not suck enough to make it into the playoffs?

Two biggest disappointments today are that two lousy teams prevented themselves from beating Indy and KC. Hopefully, Steelers knock off SD to partially redeem this Sunday.

Actually Huard has been a ton better than I have expected. Sammie Parker is definately inconsistant at best. I could say a lot worse when it comes to that guy...
