Purify should be playing on sundays after next year. I think he will become a bigger part of our O as the season roles on. He came up HUGE for us against Kansas.

A little more defensive than I would have expected so far. In the spirit of fairness, if I were an ISU fan I'd be a little pissed about the calls. You still have plenty of time with Nebraska's secondary as it is. Taylor needs to get the O going again.

Closer than the score will show. Couple bad breaks for the 'CLones, but I was a little impressed by the Husker D. ISU certainly had plenty of passing yards, but we didn't give up the 30+ points I expected. 2nd half play calling verged on too conservative, but I do like to see us wear down teams on the ground. Hopefully Austin isn't hurt bad. Overall, good win on the road. Lets carry this over to KSU next week.

We beat them as expected. I have a feeling we will be competiting for a national title this year or next.

Not sure I'd go that far. KU did take us to OT last week. I think winning the North and playing well in the Big XII is a reasonable goal for this year. Missouri is looking pretty good, so that might not be an easy task. Next year we should be pretty good, but we'll be replacing pretty much the entire defensive line. Keller, as good as he might be, will have to get adjusted to the offense. And we play SC and Texass again next year. Winning these road games are step in the right direction, but this team hasn't shown me it is capable of playing with the top teams just yet. Anyway, good win and bring on the Prima Donna and his teammates! GBR.

That game against the Jayhawks can be attributed to a defense that decided to pack it in after the first half. I think we'll handle Mizzou fairly easy.

The thing that excites me is that the improvement this season will further help our recruiting (which Callahan and co. already do great at) and will bring bigger and better talent to Lincoln.
