Default US Military History in the making

The Uniform Code of Military Justice has served as the foundation for Military law for decades and has changed little since it's inseption. Now after a great deal of trouble in recent years and most likely the influence of a moral consrvative notion and nudging. The UCMJ will be changed again. Article 134 of the UCMJ is known as the general article. Anything that could be seen or viewed as prejudicial to the good order and discipline of a unit or the service can get you a 134.

134 has always been vauge and open for basically catching any offense that isn't already spelled out. The change will spell this out. When published this change will make it illegal for a US serviceman/woman to employ the service of a prostitue. As far back as the American revolution commanders basically employed prostitutes (not officially) they traveled with the officers or NCO's or just with the unit. The troops after a hard battle, march, or just while dug in used the service of these ladies and it was in fact condusive to the good order and discipline of the units and well as the morale and wellfare of the soldiers, Sailors, airmen and marines thru the annals of out military history. I cannot overstate how historic this is.

They will now be villifying thier own troops for doing no more than thier predecessors did more than they. Discuss....

What am I missing here, are they saying you can't pay to get laid and will be prosecuted if you do?

Did Bill Frist write this new law?

No you can no longer get short time for GI anywhere. If you are found out you get punished under 134. Ain't it a shame. I don't mean to sound like a pervert or anything but this is a great leg that the servicemen have always stood on and commanders have always ignored because they figured it was good for morale.
