Default Orange Mane Top 25 Poll

I was thinking we should have our own Orange Mane Top 25 Poll. FADERPROOF got it started last year, but he posts less these days.

On Saturday evening, send me your top 25 teams to my PM box and I will compile the results. Anybody is welcome to submit a poll.

I would like to get your top 25 on Saturday evening/early Sunday morning so we can have our poll out before the AP and coaches release theirs.

Yea SoCal! Kudos for including UW! They definitely deserve it...

And props for putting USC in the right spot. I was watching Mark May talk about how USC was now no. 2...whatever, you know? No. 2 over Florida, Michigan, and the like? Are you kidding me?

If USC goes up against a smashmouth D in the postseason they could be in serious trouble. I mean, Washington and Moody were running through holes the size of humvees.

Come to think of it, I won't be surprised one bit if they come out with 2 losses against Oregon, Cal, and Notre Dame at the end of the year...

I have historically hated that UW program a great deal, they've caused me alot of pain.....but they definitely earned my respect today. They got cheated by U$C and the stupid refs, it was a huge fraud. I felt bad for Ty and his kids. They definitely deserve to be ranked.

The PAC-10 officials are complete crooks. I mean just crooks. Today makes three games just this season where they gave the game aay to a PAC-10 team. I have no doubt there are more I haven't seen. I hope they're tiny penises shrivel and fall off.

I don't watch as much college as you guys, but I think USC may deserve to be #2. They've lost only twice in the last 50 games. They put up 50 points against Arkansas this year. Does the BCS still consider margin of victory?

USC struggled against Washington, Washington State and had trouble putting away Arizona ... Michigan blew out ND in South Bend and looked solid in their other games and Florida beat a good Tennessee squad AT Neyland Stadium and dominated LSU last Saturday.

Michigan or Florida at #2 is a toss up, but even WVU is more deserving of the #2 spot than USC IMO.

1. Ohio State Buckeyes
2 thru 25....does it really matter
all kidding aside, with Fla losing and USC continued struggles with unraked teams, I think Michigan despite the low scoring Penn St. win will be the new #2, maybe if WV had played Louisville earlier they could have slipped in. If WV can remain unbeaten and Michigan falls to the mighty Buckeyes, WV will face the Bucks in Zona'. Texas doesn't have anybody left to beat and won't face a ranked team for it's conference title unless Nebraska can keep it up and ND only has USC left so it will be hard for them to backdoor their way to the title game.

Yeah...I had your boys solidly as No. 1 again in the poll I just submitted to LB 52. I have WVU at No. 2 and Michigan at No. 3. SC at No. 4, they just look really pathetic.

Man USC at #5 is a little harsh. I think that team does a good job competing week in week out. You have to understand that when you're at or near the top, everyone plays their best game against you and pulls out all stops. I think USC is building some good character pulling off these close games. I guess only time will tell what happens.

When you create a monster, you have to feed it ... and most people are used to SC rolling just about anything they come up against. It might not be totally fair, but I think that kinda plays a part in people´s minds ... so they´re not really comparing the 06 USC team to the other 06 teams, but rather to the previous USC teams and therefore rank them a little lower than they deserve to. For the record, I think USC could run into serious trouble v Cal and Oregon ... bit of a ****ty situation, I don´t want USC to play for the national title again, so they have to lose one ... but if that loss comes against Notre Dame it could put them back into contention. Decisions, decisions ...

Unless a miracle happens the Big 10 Champion will be undefeated and going to Arizona ... so who are they going to play? Would an undefeated WVU or Louisville team have a shot?
