Default Another request for trade advice

I've been offered D. McNabb for Steven Jackson and L Maroney. He just rejected the same deal with Tatum thrown in for me. I will still have Portis, T Jones, and DeAngelo Williams for RBs. Probably keep Leftwich as a backup. Is McNabb gonna have a juggernaut year? It is expensive. Whaddya think people?

Not sure i would take it. Just because Portis is really your only bread and butter there as far as backs are concerned. If you can get him to leave you Maroney or Jackson and take another back than i would go for it. Maybe give him Williams and Jackson and see if he bites.

I'd say no. Portis/Jackson/Leftwich is better IMO then McNabb/S Jackson/L Maroney.

I would try to trade for a decent QB (not top 5) to play matchup with Leftwich. Assuming your playoffs don't include week 17, Lefty's playoff schedule is decent. If the D Foster owner, and this isn't a keeper or dynasty league, has a decent QB available (Delhomme, Brees, Vick, Bledsoe, etc) I'd see if he was interested in D Williams at all.

I'd say you're pretty damn crazy to think that somone is gonna give you McNabb for Maroney!!! At this point McNabb is nearly untradeable. I'd look for a deal that would return say Mike Vick and then a top 12 RB for McNabb. If you can get McNabb for Steven Jackson and Maroney I would think long and hard about it. Lefty has been doing a good job, McNabb is putting up 25+ per outing! McNabb, Portis, and Jones is not a bad starting threesome!!!

Portis is gonna miss more time this year count on it. I just personally dont see any starting QB = 2 RB's in any league.

So how about McNabb, Benson, and Droughns for Portis, Vick, and McGahee.

Leftwich does have a better FF playoff schedule than McNabb. DMac is on the road against division opponents for all 3 of those games. What is McNabb's value for the rest of the season? They don't hand off much, especially after 2 goal line fumbles. I started this by offering Portis straight up with Jackson and Maroney left to carry the rock. What to do...?
