What's up with C. Brown?

I thought he would be back by now.

Get used to Brown being out. Sucks but knee's like his never get any better. Trust me! We have to move on though. I could go without having to see T Suggs this week... besides that everything looks pretty healthy for us. I wish Cobbs would get back faster. I think he could be a physical threat against the Ravens as I feel we are going to try and pound the rock against them.

Which leads me to believe DE will be our top pick in the draft. When will I get that great safety

Hopefully my Adopt-a-Bronco can get well enough to help the team this season. We're pulling for you CB!

The Post said that C Brown did practice this week, and is shaking off the cobwebs. I see him playing in the 2nd half of the season on a limited basis.

Ya gotta feel for Courtney, cause he's a stand up good character. He's got "TD knee".

Our last two drafts have concentrated on a specific area. 2005
was corners, 2006 the passing attack. It wouldn't surprise me if this draft is spent on DL, maybe another RB. This new "saturation" approach seems to be working.

Another hard luck case is Cobbs. How in the hell do you get a severe ankle sprain when your on the practice squad? It's practice man...PRACTICE.

Certain comments just stick in the collective memory. Iverson, Mora Sr's "Playoffs? We are just trying to win a game.". Cosell..."look at that monkey run..." Jimmy the Greek explaining human anatomy.

There have been some quite memorable political quotes. "Peace in our time" Chamberlain..."A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage"... Hoover..."I am not a crook"...Nixon...and the subsequent "I am in control" by Alexander Haig after Nixon abandoned the White House. Another Nixon great was "Peace with honor". Bushisms and Quailisms are simply too numerous to post. "Mission accomplished"...that was 5 years ago.

At any rate, before I hijack the thread further, moving into the second quarter of the season, we are actually pretty healthy. I saw alot of players limp off against New England. It's good to see the injury report so scarce.

I fully expect another brutal game against the RatBirds. We get thru this next test, we get a few supposed cakewalks, but you just never know...we are prone to lay an egg every year. We can't be looking forward to Indy quite yet.

There have been .

Mock - Cobbs is on the active squad and got hurt on the kick return when he fumbled. Must be a pretty severe sprain to keep him out 4+ weeks.

I read it on multiple sources, including NFL.com. Maybe he's not on the report if he's done for the year?

You're right. I went on their website and it shows that he has been placed on IR...
