Now who has the worst fan base in the NFL? You know these goobers. They're always loud during a game when the team plays well, but if their team struggles for a game or two they bail. My own list...
Worst frontrunners COWBOYS Phoniest fans FALCONS Wannabe fans TEXANS Clown fans RAIDERS Silliest fans BENGALS Masochistic fans CARDINALS Can you say lukewarm, as in dishwater ![]() |

Cardinal fans are the worst but that is not because they are bad fans it's because there really isn't very many true Cardinal fans. Phoenix is a retirement/meltingpot of people from all around the country. They don't really care about the Cardinals.
That being said I think a lot of transplants in Phoenix are ready to support the Cardinals if they become a winner. If the Cardinals can make the playoffs this year they will be a very hot item. Personally, I would start Leinart the rest of the season. They aren't going to make the playoffs with Warner, and if Leinart starts the rest of the year and they have a good draft next year the whole Phoenix area could really be turned on to the Cards. Bidwell for all of his shortcomings has been a patient owner. He needs to give Green a fair chance to succeed. I think this team is on the cusp of greatness, they just can't panic before it happens. |

I would change masochistic fans to the Browns faithful. The Cubs fans of the NFL.
I second what Atlas said about the Cardinals fans. They don't deserve any pity because they never supported the team until the bandwagon surge of this season. |
