Shutting out an NFL team...no matter what NFL team is not easy to do.

Doing so with your backup QB and a backup tackle?

It is impressive.

It is what it is...one win in a long season. But trying to downplay a win of that nature tugs at your integrity.

Oh, alright. It was a a well-played game, and I had actually bought into the 49ers for a while there.

However, if we beat the same 49ers last game of the year with the same score, it isn't going to appear to be that big of a deal.

You're right though, it was a great performance by the Cheifs. I was more responding to Bob's line "We DOMINATED the #4 offense in the NFL." as if he were claiming that because after 3 weeks of play, they had the 4th best stats means that they are the 4th best offense, which is isn't even close.

It was a good win, though still just a week 4 win. I personally would be more focused on getting above .500 before celebrating too hard. Still a good win though.

It is actually very close. They are an amazing footballing offense. They can really make touchdowns well.

Some of their players went to major universities and they practice super hard.

I have to admit my stupidity. I gave Bob just an ounce of credit that he wouldn't be stupid enough to gloat over a slaughter of the 49ers in Arrowhead. I was wrong. I hope I've learned my lesson.

Again, its not surprising that chief fans will celebrate small victories at this point. Let them enjoy it, they wont get to the big dance anytime soon so they have the right to enjoy a small victory here and there.

That's exactly the point I made earlier. Yes the Chiefs' defense is improved but they put up 41 on the 49ers. Didn't the 49ers also turn the ball over several time?

So I get my cup of coffee and bring up the Mane. What do I see? Bob the Troll is back. What does he post? The Cheffies are the most incredible team in the NFL. Why? Because they beat the Niners.

My laugh of the day.

Denver was slumping and turned it around to beat the Patriots on national television. The Chiefs were slumping and turned it around to beat the hapless 49ers in front of a small handful of people.

Denver's momentum swing was still bigger.

Bob, your reappearance here is nauseating. This board was awesome for the couple of weeks that you were gone.

Yes, I've seen this. Your defense has certainly improved from last year...let's see if they can sustain it...

Barb likes to talk up the big smack with one big win under his belt vs a high school team, see that way he looks like a bigger fool than the last time.

Bob shouldn't cream his jeans just yet for thrashing SF at home. Nothing as classless as piling on in the 4th quarter, the last score was Dante Hall so you can't really blame that on Hermie.
