DT Michael Myers excels at anchoring against the run because he plays with good leverage and uses his hands to shed blocks. He is adept at getting under the pads of blockers and holding his ground at the point of attack. Myers does a good job sniffing out gadget plays and screens.
RISING: WR Javon Walker will know he's completely trusted as a playmaker when he's targeted for throws outside of the play called in the huddle. Adjusting for an underthrown ball in Week 2 was a step in the right direction, as were his two touchdown receptions against the Patriots.
SEE A DIFFERENT GAME: QB Jake Plummer is at his best when the Broncos' running game is effective. Defenses then have to respect the run, which allows Plummer to execute play-action rollouts. He struggles with accuracy in the pocket because he sometimes has difficulty reading the entire field, but rolling outside cuts the field in half.
